Title: What do you realy want ?

for me it has to be a PS2 , but i need to wait untill April (my next Student loan installment comes i then :D ).

But I\'m not gonna get it for my birthday (which was last month btw), but I\'ll see if I can\'t get the money for it in June or July (probably with better specs at that time though).

Dual 1,7 (soon to be released) AMD Thunderbirds.
Atleast 256 mb ddr ram.
Sony\'s 24" monitor can\'t remember the number
Vid based on the NV20 chipset
either a good server case or Antec SX1030 or Lian-Li PC70
etc...

or the same as Living-in-a-Clip but I\'d want the 22" LCD :D

and I\'m about to upgrade my proc and memory so then I\'ll have

1,2 Ghz Tbird
512mb ram

what I already have

Abit KT7-RAID
256 IBM 30 gb
GF.2 GTS
Sony G400 19" luv it
etc

yea tell me about it the ony things iwant now a days cost so much money by the time i pay for them half of my yearly income is spent on it

YOU SAID IT!! Do you have any idea when that mobo is coming out? I haven\'t seen any yet with the 760 set. LONG LIVE AMD!!

Post by: nO-One on February 13, 2001, 10:22:05 AM: I heard Gigabyte has one out but it\'s supposed to be very hard to find and it wasn\'t a dual board but it did have ddr ram.And there have been a few leaked pics of a Tyan board that had 4 Dimm slots and built in RAID (trying to be Abit are we Tyan :D)

Raid motherboards are normaly for servers. Look on the board and see how many IDE slots it has. :D

Post by: nO-One on February 13, 2001, 11:40:47 AM: I just saw the pic on ars.It had pretty much the same layout as my KT7-RAID (2 main ide slots and 2 RAID slots) but the northbridge didn\'t have a fan.And it was a dual socket 462 mobo from Tyan. I\'ll try to find the pic.

And I just bought the best Socket A mobo around,I could afford it and I got it cheap+Abit is just my favourite mobo manufactorer.

I could also use the ABIT KT7A-RAID motherboard. In fact, I\'d rather have that now I think about it. :)

Sam I think the KT7A-RAID would be a better choice since it supports Tbirds with a 266Mhz fsb.
If I manage to sell my stuff I\'ll get the KT7A-RAID.
And Soulgrind I think it\'s time for you to jump on the AMD bandwagon :D

When i get the cash i will. But right now, I\'m cashless. :D
My mb was the latest slot 1 series from gigabyte. So it\'s a good board. But then everything went into socket7. I\'ve got a slot 1 Adapter. So i can use socket7 cpus. My board supports up to p3-900mhz cpus. So for now, It does me fine. I don\'t need a cpu that doesn\'t really get used.
But i\'ll properly get a new MB from AMD, and a duron cpu.
Then when i\'ll need more power. I\'ll just buy a new Geforce card and more mem.

But right now, for the gaming i do. My system does quite fine. :D

I want Nokia\'s 3310. It\'s very good, nice looking, easy-to-use and it has few very good games ( heh, not a big point but a point nonetheless; the games are snake II and space attack or something... :) )

And of course lots of speaking time ( I\'m going to ask my parents pay the first month\'s phone-bill ;) )

Oh, I\'d like that phone. It\'s really kewl! :D

At the moment I have a Bosch... Not the best, but it was inexpensive and it gets the job done.

ahhh come one its a very nice phone - it cost as much as a PS2 does - $300 and it has the internet on it as well
