Title: Onimusha Becomes Best Selling PS2 Title Ever!

Capcom expected big things from Onimusha on the PS2, and they\'re getting just that. According to Bloomberg, since its release on 1/25 up to the 9th of this month, Onimusha has shipped an amazing 860,000 units to the Japanese market. The previous record holder for highest shipping PS2 game was Namco\'s Ridge Racer V, which up until December of last year, had shipped 780,000 units in Japan. With Onimusha continuing to sell rapidly, as indicated by our daily sales charts, we could have the system\'s first million seller on our hands here!:D

...The US version arrives on March 15th. !!!

Ah the NOW classic Survival Horror has gripped the world. This is an great looking game even though it has pre rendered backgounds.

One game that will keep us all going until the next Resident Evil games comes out....Oh don\'t for get Silent Hill 2 , it looks like the faint Hearted will have to play these games from behing there sofa\'s :D.

I must say that the sales have really surprizerd me with this game.
But saying that the Japanese love survival horror.
Carnt wait to get my hands on this game now!To many good games not enough money.

For me it\'s too mant great games , not enough money or PS2 :crying:.

if Sony are having any problems with PS2 sales , we could see a the go through the roof with the release of games like this one.

yeah cool where getting it, infact i knew that all along , i have a DVD demo of this full intro and all.

has to be one of the best intro\'s i have seen in a long while.

yeah Japan did good with this game, but we all know what will happen when MGS2 comes out,,I predict way over a million,,and ZOE might do it too.

The Japanese don\'t really care for MGS series

MGS2 may even get released in the US and Europe 1st.


As for pre-rendered backgrounds in Onimusha, I really don\'t care if the trees or Mountains or the sunset in the backgrouns are pre-renedered cause you are never going to reach them in this style of game anyways
