Title: Surround sound with the PS2 DVD?

I know there is a cable which you can buy and it plugs into the surround sound to give true 5.1 or DTS sound. What is this cable called?

Hey, follow up question:)

My PS2 is just OVER 6ft away from my receiver, sooooo, my 6ft optical cable is juuuuust out of reach:(

Do they sell longer ones, or some type of extender? If so, where would I check?

Your best bet on buying an optical cable is going to a computer store that caries fiber-optic interconnects, or optical cable same thing.  The cables are actually better, and 70% less then you would pay at a hi-fi audio/video store.  

Plus they can make you any length cable you want and prolly have longer ones already made...  If you can\'t find one let me know and we might be able to set something up...
