Developed by Wide Games, Prisoner of War takes you to some of the most popular German controlled camps during WWII, Salonika, Stalag Luft I, Stalag Luft III and Colditz Castle. You play as four Allied Officers (British, French, Dutch and U.S.) captured by the Germans. Each character is an expert escapee who specializing in different fields that range from athleticism, to stealth, espionage, charm, and linguistics. Characters are controlled independently as they attempt to escape from their respective POW camps before meeting in Colditz. POW uses the 3D Atlas engine, and each camp will be modeled in high detail with all characters and objects being interactive.

Interesting premise for a game. But I wonder if it\'ll be more of a shoot-em-up or more like MGS. Plus I wonder how mature this game will be. Considering the material, this game could be too intense for some people if the developers aren\'t careful. Though judging from the pictures I\'d say this is more like "The Great Escape" than, say, "Schindler\'s List." So I don\'t think that\'ll be a problem. But what\'s with the button symbols in the corners of some of the screens? Do you just choose your actions as you move along or something?

this kinda sounds and looks interesting
i think it will be more of a stealth deal - how would you have weaponds in a concentration camp
althoughi could be wrong - but you are right this could be a controversal game if done in a certain way - but i doubt that the developers waana deal with that sort of backlash from american mothers and video game violence protesters
