the NV20 or geforce3 going for 600$......that is unbeliveable, no one is going to buy it for that...

this is the perfect time for ATI or matrox to unveil a chip just as powerful if not more than NV20 but MUCH cheaper...

looks like the nvidia monopoly starts =(

You\'re forgetting, N-Player, that we had to pay 600$+ for GeForce 2. I don\'t know about the GeForce 3 prices, but I think they\'ll be even higher here!

And somebodys DO buy 3d-accelerator-cards for that price.

But it\'s much; the price is HIGH, I can\'t disagree.

But nothing that we haven\'t seen here in Finland.

Yep it will be expensive at first but I\'m confident (spelling?) that prices will drop.(atleast I hope so)
And ATi will be the only real competitor now.People are not even sure if Matrox will enter the 3d gaming market again,they may stick to what they do best awesome 2d image quality.I for one hope the G800 will be a great card.
