Title: HOW MUCH IS A PS2 IN SINGAPORE?

i was just wondering as i know people who are going there next month and may get one from there.

does anyone know of an online store where i could get one.

I live in singapore! dont buy it here! I repeat dont buy it here!

ps2 750 singaporean dollars =about 450 us dollars
memory card 100 singaporean dollars= about 55 us
games= 100-120  sing dollars each
controllers= 100 sing dollars a piece
stands (any)=50 sing dollars a piece

the reason why these are so expensive is that there are no official shops ssuch as ebay and bestbuy, this means that we only have import shops selling japanese and us stuff for the same price. So..dont be ripped off by these fools here!

i know how u feel. its almost that bad in Australia.

no wonder u guys pirate stuff there.

i reckon we need a global currency and tax system so everything is the same price

You\'re right ..i agree on the Global Currency and tax system proposal.It really annoys me when i\'ve waited 6 months without a drop in price in most of the shops .

I buy at Tampines Mall level4 game shop near the cinema.

I used to buy games at Siglap Center,East Coast during the 3DO era..its so convenient there..no crowds very courteous storekeeper.

MGR:

I recommend you try out the malls in the Eastern part of Singapore example Tampines or EastCoast ..i suspect there are unofficial ps2 sold for $650 or if youre lucky $550.

You might want to go to Sim Lim Square ..i think there are 4 shops selling ps2.

I tried sim lime and funan, both give a 700-750 price range. But thanx anyway ;)

damn ps2 costs o much money other countrys, sheesh!
