I try to play my dvd\'s through the scart connection but the screens green, how can I overcome this problem. The other connectors rubbish quality!!!

it\'s the anti copying feature on the PS2, it stops you from connecting it to your VCR and copy films.
if you want a solution to this then phone the sony help line and they will tell you which ones you can use.

FYI: The reason its green is supposedly because of policy on DVDs in the UK which can output RGB through a non-standard connection, not macrovision.
Your best alternative is to snap up a s-video cable, the quality of picture you get is a reasonably large step up from the in the box set, leaps and bounds ahead of rf.
