Title: PS2 TOP DOG IN JAPAN!

The PS2 has got a 59%(or close) share in the hardware market in japan,the piece of hardware next is Game boy colour with 21%.
These percentages are from Famitsu,so i guess they are ok to beleive.

What does the 59% represent? Gamers or overall population? I don\'t feel like clicking on the link.

I didn\'t really understand what you said. But it\'s not market share, dingbat. It\'s hardware sales. But, PS2 does have the biggest market share. I think it\'s %65.

Heh I read this at segadojo.some guy posted it up.  They did their normal bashing of course..NGC will come out in top when its released..x-box this and that..Japanese people are strange..yada yada yada

hell the japense are what make and break gaming consoles and games

if they don\'t like it - its chances to succed are slimer

thats why if there is a game that doesn\'t do all that great in japan - then you better rethink buying it if it comes here at all

thats why i wonder about dark cloud - since it had lower unexpected sales - but i guess we will see what happens

But that isn\'t even the tip of the ice-berg, you\'ll see... :)

When MGS2 comes out... PS2\'s sells will hit the roof and go trough it in Japan and all over the world. Hideo, we trust you :)
