Title: You have to get the offcical PS2 MAG this month (GT3)!!!
Post by: Ethan_Hunt on February 22, 2001, 01:33:34 AM: Because there is a playable demo of GT3,i havent got a chance to play it yet,but i you get three cars,and two tracks,then you have 150 secounds to get as far as you can around the tracks.The two tracks are The Laguna Seca Raceway,and Trial Mountain.
And the cars are Nissan Pennzoil Nismo GT-R the Pagani Zonda C12 and teh RUF CTR2.
I am at work at the moment and it is driving me mad,i have got to play this demo.I am going home at lunch,and i will let you know what it is like!

But i am not sure if it is in the shops yet,the way i got it is because the company i work for put an ad in one of future publishings mags,so we asked if they could send it and they did,and i am not sure if we got it early,but i might be wrong and it might be in the shops,go and have alook,i am just about to play it.

Post by: Ethan_Hunt on February 22, 2001, 09:58:13 AM: Well i got to play it at lunch,and considering this is not the final version,in terms of graphics make me very excited,but i hope the handling is improved,because if this is ment to be a simulator,then the handling is better in my 206 then a porsche 911!
Maybe i have got to get use to it more,but on the whole the demo has made me more excited,to get my hands on the other cars in the game.
The reply is good,you press up and down on the controller,and it changes to each different car in the race,and give you really good camera angles.
If you do get a chance to get the offical mag with the demo on i would recommend it.
One other thing i was reading the mag and someone wrote a letter asking if there would be a playable demo of metal gear solid 2,and they said yes,so i dont know if it will be the real demo,or one made up for the mag!

Post by: Ethan_Hunt on February 23, 2001, 11:33:16 AM: I swear on my mothers life no crosses included,the front cover is red and has the getaway on it.The disk is still on the purple disks.And the rolling demos are sky odyssey,Madden 2001,F1 championship,theme park world and knockout king.
And as i said i think i got it early,because the company i work for places an AD in Future Music,which is published by Future publishing,place that the offical PS2 mag is owned by,so we asked them to send it to us each month,and this month we got it early.
I wouldnt lie to you guys,because if i was lieing you would find out in 4 days.

Post by: Ethan_Hunt on February 24, 2001, 10:46:53 AM: I dont know what the camera is like in moto Gp, but the camera is like where they show the car comming down a section of the track(all differnt angles),then it switches to a different part of the track,with a different camera angle.
I dont know if you have seen an movies of the game,but i think the best camera angle is where it is quite close to the car side,and it zoomes in and out on the car,it looks really cool.
I hope this helps,if you are worried about the replays dont be,they are really good.
One more thing in my second post i said that i hope,that the make the handling better,i am glad to say that i have played it lots and lots more,and i love the handling now.
When you get the demo play it,then put the original game on,it looks so funny,but it is alot faster then GT3.
