It ain\'t nothing special but that symbol means a lot to me, and hell I talk about \'em enough it might as well be my pic. :D

They had these animation editing tools and I\'d take that mouse and make it look like he was running from gunfire.. even with tracers and wounds and stuff. Pretty cool. That\'s an OLD pic. :)

WHY DID ROBERTA WILLIAMS STOP AFTER 8 ON KINGS QUEST???? I have them all...

Knowing their trend, Sierra probably has her programming the next "Pro Bass Fishing" or "Pinball" title. It\'s just as good though, I\'d rather see the KQ series die an honorable death than to see it bastardized by suit\'s (who probably never played any of the previous games) that want to make it into the next "Tomb Raider".

Adventure games just aren\'t selling well in the US (Europe and Japan are another story). If there was a way to make them much cheaper to produce, then we might see more of them come out.. but right now Adventures are one of, if not THE, most expencive game to create. Just look at Shenmue.. it\'s price tag was somewhere around 20 million dollars I think.

If (or should I say WHEN) the market does turn around and Sierra decideds to continue their franchises, there\'s a good chance that they won\'t even be developed by their originators. Mark Crowe, Scott Murphy, Lori & Cori Cole, Al Lowe, Mark Seibert, Christy Marx, Jane Jensen... they\'re all gone. Only Roberta and a handful of programmers are left. It\'s anyone\'s guess weither or not Roberta will even stick around. Guess it all depends on if Ken makes another game company someday.

I haven\'t played Kings Quest saga much, but I have Kings Quest VI. Is it worth playing trough?

Post by: SonyFan on February 23, 2001, 12:26:29 AM: Probably not if you\'re not much of an Adventure gamer. The early games had a LOT fairytale/folklore influence. It was almost like playing a Grimm\'s tale or a Mother Goose story. If you\'re not into those kinda themes, then you may want to stay away. KQ1 is worth playing just because it\'s the very first graphical Adventure to come out and should be in every hardcore gamer\'s collection. If you do like adventures though, you\'ll want to give them a spin. Overall, if you\'ve played part six then you\'ve played the best of the series IMO. KQIV would be my pick as second best. (Then again, it was the first PC game I\'d ever played so I may be a bit bias)

I thought about choosing the shot of Roger in the title screen, but I\'m not a SQ junkie.. just a classic games/Sierra junkie, and most people here wouldn\'t know who he was anyhow.

once that happens you must:

1. to get a pic you must have at least 500 posts

2. to have some phrase under you name you must ask soulgrind or mm to put what you want

and thats that - now you know
