Title: The Bouncer-Just over an hour to complete?!?!?!
Post by: PS2_IS_SUPERB on February 23, 2001, 08:37:15 AM
You have got to be joking!!!!!!
In PSM2 Magazine they say that the Bouncer is complete after just over an hour!
I was gonna buy this game for its looks but £40 for an hours game is not on!
Its such a shame cos the Bouncer promised so much but lets us all down.
No way i\'m buying it...

But I guess the game has got some replayability.

To get all the characters pefect, I think you need 10-15 hours at least. But i don\'t KNOW, because I haven\'t played the game.

I\'m definetely going to loan/rent it somehow somewhere \'tho, as I want to experience the game.

One other thing I noticed is the loadin\' time.  That thing have to load after almost every little battle... the graphics are overwhelming though.

Short games aren\'t the problem.  Short games that ya feel no desire to ever play again are.  I plan to rent it first and judge for myself, and if it\'s a bust then I\'m only out a few bucks...

.....Tobal No.2\'s dungeon level then? Only it\'s not in the dungeons.

Well, I knew it just a fighting game with a story a la Tekken only more elaborate. Does it have the tradition two player versus mode?

Does it even have 1 hour of gameplaying time?

If players can complete the game in 2 hours with FMV plus loading times ( wich I\'ve heard are LONG! ), doesn\'t it really make the FMV\'s and loading times together longer than the playing time?

Just wondering, as I want to play more than just sit and wait. I don\'t care if the fmv\'s are COOL or not. It\'s about the gameplay.

Well, the only guy who have ever played The Bouncer (and hyped it, reviewed it too) is THE BOUNCER. You might wanna ask him whether he still plays The Bouncer game. Still, I would buy it though. I can\'t rent this game \'cos I got a US PS2 but living in UK. When will the UK The Bouncer comes out? Probably I\'ll rent it and play it in someone else\'s UK PS2.
