Title: WRC 2001- Am I the only one who is waiting for this game?

I enjoyed the Colin McRae series on the PSX so this one captured my attention since the first time i saw it. It has the most realistic environments i\'ve seen in a rally game and it looks promising and innovative in the gameplay department.
Just read this:

My god Falgarok!!! those pics are great!!! I hadn´t seen them before now... wow!! the 3 last pics are impressive!!

Are there any videos? (jejej pasate por nuestro thread pa ver unas pocas fotos ;) )

I really, really look forward to this game. I enjoyed Colin McRae rally on PSX, this looks like more fun. And holy bejusus those graphics are nice! Count me in. :)

The tracks are the most realistic I ve ever seen.LOOK AT THE TEXTURES!!TREES!!!

I think they can´t be in-game pics... my god... if they´re in-game... this 128 bits console begins to seem a 256 bits one!!

i dont think those are in game, not at all, this game looks intresting, i think when you are in first person  the inside of the car looks real and reall yood detail, i havent seen much news about this game in awhile, but it looks good none the less

yeah, the game has got a good quality but some of those pics (7 and 8) are impressive for a racing game in movement... i think you understand me... it´s impossible ;)

OMG! this game looks awsome but i really doubt those are in-game shots.
those trees look real and the courses look real to. What is this game since i have no idea what WRC stands for.

Those trees are ****ing brilliant. The car itself could use some work though. I played one of the PSX versions and it was awesome. I hope the PS2 version can surpass it.

its funny because we can[t have cigerette ads at sport stadiums etc but we can have them in video games.

I seriously doubt that Marlboro car will remain in the game

Then again maybe it will, essentially games are interactive movies or sporting events, but they\'ve made race cars in America remove any reference to tobacco products

yeah...looking really promising, ....and those DC fanboys said that ps2 couldn\'t do life like textures, well...they are wrong. The car models looks also very nice, I like that lense flare effect in the first pic, so sweeeeeeeeet!

The release date is stil undecided but i\'ll expect it coming in Summer, maybe in Spring in the US.
BTW where do you read that mclarenman?.

PS: Deadly Hamster "WRC" stands for "World Rally Champinonship".

I read that it was coming out in April in the Official Australian Playstation 2 mag. Other intresting news according to the mag GT3 is coming out in May in Australia.

i don\'t like rally games so im not waiting for it. the graphics look sweet though.
