Why do we get our games a long way after the US.
I understand about the language and everything but surely the american language is the English? -Durrrr!!
Why do we get games so late????
The system should change!
What are your views?

OK, well... At least you get freaking demo CDs with that PS2 magazine. We don\'t get crap for demos.
Why aren\'t you complaining to the Japanese instead of the US? They get stuff way before us.

1. Europe games are PAL.. American are NTSC.
2. Europe and Australia don\'t get half the crap america gets. and i MEAN crap. If it doesn\'t do well in USA. It won\'t get too Europe and Aus. So be happy. Know that if u buy a game. It must have done pretty good in usa. :D
Though Some DO get through.

the uk are fussy about censoring and stuff. another reason is that japan make all the decent games and we have to wait for those games to be converted into english.

All European counties are being treated the same way.
PAL PS2\'s also get their demo disk with the package and with YABASIC.

I see this might be a little hard to tell whats going on, but ill explain as much as i can.the dotted line going to the upper right is the USA east coast.The line that is going to the top left is the UK coastline.The thing that says japan is Japan.Then the line titled "Japans PSX2 cargo ship\'s route" is what the route of the cargo ship is.See the reason UK gets it after the USA is becuse first the cargo ship hit the USA then it crosses the Atlantic to save time.
If you still do not get this map I made just feel free to ask.

Pal is being treated like crap.
With Releases comming months after the american releases. (as it has been for years)
But the biggest dissapointment for pal games is the 60hz modes.
But then again the 2 biggest games Gran Tourismo 3 and Metal Gear 2 are confirmed to have 60hz modes :)

No we don;t get treated like crap, infact in some ways it is better being last to get a game.
For example look at Final Fantasy 7
the UK version HAS extra Battles and sub bosses that where not included in the US and Japannese versions.
Just because we get them games last dose not mean that we are being treated like crap. Infact i am just glad that i do not live in Japan and bought a PS2 on launch Day, i might of been disapointed with the minnor problem with the memory card and havingto store your DVD drives on the 8meg card.
also we get all the UK games Longbefore the rest of the world.
Yup i cant wait to for Wipe out fusion and Project EDen to come out here first Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
So in short, don\'t be ashamed if your Brittish, it just means we have to wait a wee bit longer for them games :D.

of corse Dead or Alive 2 has this feature as well, i likethey way that you can test your TV to see if it canhandle 60hz, not every UK tv can :crying:.

One nice little thing that most developers are doing are optimizing 50hz to be full screen.
Where before all the games were treated to beautiful widescreen modes :rolleyes:

ooseven, yeah the 60hz mode in doa2 was cool, shame the game was a steaming pile of crap

get treated like crap,but there is nothing we can do about it,so there is no point in getting upset.
I mean i am not saying that i wouldn\'t like the games earlyer,but what can we do,if you have any ideas on what we can do then count me in.
Maybe we could keep emailing all the big developers,to let them know how we feel,but anyway it is up to you,if you think there is anything we can do.

well there is one awnser, pick youself up one of these neo2 chips and order the game on import. But its a question of wethre you want to run the risk of destorying your machine. And seeing as people are still waiting for thier machines here in uk not many ppl will be willing to

Neo2 is a pirate chip only. It doesnt allow imports to be played.
