i want too d/l an nes emulator (nesticle) and it says it needs dos4gw too run under windows.

i\'m using winME any particular emulator i should use.

i want emulators for the following: atari 2600
                                    nes
                                    snes
                                   
what are the best for windows?

i have a 1.0 Ghz (heard some emulators are too fast on faster pcs)

dos4gw? I\'m not sure what the file is for, but I have several of them scattered around with my dos games. I don\'t think they\'re configured specially for each seperate program, since I can copy it from Rise of the Triad to DukeNukem3D without any problems. If you want, I can email it to you and see if that fixes your problems.
