Title: EVeryones first cars...

Maybe in yellow though. What about everyone esle? What was your first car or what do you WANT it to be.

Post by: CygnusXI on February 26, 2001, 12:49:37 PM: WOW! My first car was in 1986, I was 18. It was a 1973 Dodge Duster. I sized up the engine. The car burned/leaked oil and I didn\'t check the oil level and....SIEZE!!!

....Now...4 cars later I have a red Dodge Durango(98), and in case anyone cares my license plate reads: PS2-4US:)

Post by: kirath on February 26, 2001, 12:53:03 PM: Well the first car I had was a hand-me-down.. But the first car I bought was a 1989 Mercury Cougar... I liked that car. Then I gave it to my parents.. Less then 2 months and they kill it...:(

My step dad t boned someone in an intersection, then my mom the next day, who did not care anymore cause the car was all wrecked in the front, took a corner to tight and side swiped the whole side of it on a concrete block. I was sad, very sad, I had so many memories in that car. Then they ruined it.. :(

But its okay..

it is back and is still running it has 210,000 miles and it shows no sign of age - i keep my trucks in top condition - if i pay that much for something, damn straight i am gonna take care of it

There\'s just something about a piece of sh*t car that gives them more personality than newer ones. That and there\'s a lot of memories of me and my buddies skipping school and going to parties or just cruising around in it.

Nice car! I simply love it. But cars are bloddy expensive here in Denmark! *grrrr*

Post by: merkin on February 27, 2001, 01:47:03 PM: My first car was an 1986 Pontiac Sunbird, which was a hand me down from my brother. I hated it. Sometimes I had to use ether to start the engine. Since then I decided that I want reliable vehicles and I bout a 1990 Chevy 4x4 truck, which I sold after 2 years to get my current vehicle, a 1998 Acura Integra. I love that little car.

Now I have a 2000 Hyundai Accent. it is cheap, reliable, gets close to 40 mpg, and well, cheap.
