Bon Jovi??? I hope you\'re not talking about his new, middleaged boyband wannabe, trash. I mean the music was alright for a time, but from Keep the Faith onwards he\'s stuck in this "Crap Ballads" phase. The guy discovered Skid Row for christ\'s sakes, where\'s his dignity?
My music tastes are pretty broad. My favorite music is metal/death metal/80 *hair band* metal, but I\'ll listen to anything with a good beat and some soul behind it. At any given time I\'ll be listening to music ranging from Testament to Harry Chapin to Journey to Cypress Hill to Sam Cooke and Jerry Lee Lewis.

What the difference between Hardcore and Death metal?
-
Well Death metal is slower than hardcore. The lyrics are not for the faint hearted.Deicide Sing about hating god/Jesus and liking the guy below.Cannibal Corpse aren\'t really into the satanic thing they sing about having sexual intercourse with corpses :D and all kinds of f*cked up things. And the singers sing with a VERY deep voice,I mean VERY deep.
Harcore is alot faster.Their songs aren\'t satanic at all and some of them even have a pretty deep meaning to them (think Earth Crisis). They basically scream their lyrics. They are mostly into legal things.Especially Straight Edge they don\'t frnk or do drugs etc. Some of the most seviere (spelling?) don\'t eat meat and don\'t eat dairy products (again think Earth Crisis).
-
I\'m all over the place:
Fu Manchu
Live
At the Gates
...Ahem, Sloan
Edge of Sanity
Rush
His Hero is Gone
Garbage -song from Gran Turismo hooked me
Black Sabbath
Pink Floyd
Lots of older metal, I/M, Metall., Sepul.,
and so on.....
Anyone have any Radio Birdman that is collecting dust?
Almost impossible to find any here in Canaduh.
-
Any kind of jungle music... Dark step, tech step, 2 step, atmospheric, ragga, jump-up etc etc. I love it all!! :D
-

i dont guess i have any favourites really.
i listen to dance music and i love the ministry of sounds albums.
william orbit
alice deejay
those are probably the 2 i think i like the best.
-
Take my advice.
If you want an introduction into Hardcore, DO NOT LISTEN TO EARTH CRISIS!
They are terrible.
Get some Dillenger Escape Plan, especially if you like metal.
Vegan is when you dont eat meat or drink any kind of dairy product or eat anything with dairy.
But, let me repeat myself, DONT LISTEN TO EARTH CRISIS!
BAD!
-
Dillinger Escape Plan does rock. The only Earth Crisis CD I really like is The oath that keeps me free it\'s a live CD and it has some quality screams. My fav hardcore bands has to Vision Of Disorder.I\'m more into death metal though.
-
Im into hardcore and just plain old metal.
Burn the Priest is a good example of the two types mixed.
-
Rap is the **** man!!:smokin:
And anyone who says that you need no talent to rap then they should realy try to write there own rap and perform it:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
That should shut them up!:boom::burn::fro::bounce:
I have actually wrote two of my own raps:D:D:D:D:D
-
Rap is just so.....so...sooooo...boring.sorry
It\'s just a guy talking about his bi*ches or his homies and the hood.
But you get a kick out of listening to death metal.you feel evil muhahahaha......or something like that.

well a gabber is a guy who shaves his head, wears cavello\'s and autralians, dances on hardcore (we dutch call it hakkuh!) and takes XTC
...the gabber craze is pretty much gone now, but the music (hardcore) is pretty good, its basically hardhouse or trance on steroids
-
Some bands/songs I like...
( this is the 4th or 5th time when I see a thread like this. No offence \'tho ;) )
- Offspring - I listened to it when there was this fever called Americana.
- Dream Theater ( all the way! ) - this is truly the king of melodic heavy
- Limp Bizkit - I like the Chocolate Starfish and Hot Dog flavoured Water very much.
- John Williams - the soundtrack composer for many great great movies, such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones; and the upcoming Harry Potter movies
- Rush - I like it. Kinda like Dream Theater.
- Monkey Island musics
- Final Fantasy musics
and many other unnamed songs and pieces and bands and singers...

that is pretty much the same thing then
we call them ravers - they go to a big place full of more than 10,000 people and they have djs play music while people trip on XTC - i have only been to one and they are not all that
i just rather go to clubs and meet chicks their - although at raves there is usually a 4-1 girl to guy ratio
