Yes, yes it´s "only" the Demo, but IT ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!

The grafix and sound is superb...
A lot better than you can imagine !
It totaly blowen me away when I came home and found the OPM2 Mag in my letterbox !!! A friend of mine, who was also there started screming immediately... :D
We will play it the hole night... :D

is that demo disk region specific, b/c i would pay someone in the uk to pick up a copy and mail it to me

I\'m affraid it\'s in PAL format. So you wouldn\'t be able to use it in a Japanese / American PS2.

man im sad :( i cant get the demo, its no sold inthe U.S. and if it is, i havent seen it anywhere, i have finally found a ps2 maga zine thoug its called PSE2, it looks kinda crappy, whats the name of the mag that has the demo, will anyone send me the demo :) i will pay shipping an d handleing, or buy me the mag and ill send you the money for it :):):) please i would be so greatful, if someone is intrested pm me and well work things out.

Sony, STOP JERKING US AROUND!!!! Why would they give a demo to europe and not America?  Why can\'t all PS2s be the same... what can\'t Americans and Europeans co-exist?

yeah, i\'m not sure why we don\'t have the demo here in the states, or a good ps2 mag for that matter.  as far as the ps2s being different, that\'s not sony\'s fault unknown, it\'s due to the differing television standards.  maybe we won\'t have that problem when we\'re playing our ps3s on our hdtvs

I cannot play the demo too ,cause I have a imported US console.But today I got Starfighter in my letterbox - right in time for my birthday.What a nice gift I made to myself :D

Sorry guys, I don´t have a digi cam...
but I can tell you -> IT ROCKS !!!
It´s simlpy amazig to see the reflection on the cars, a friend told me that this is just the kind of thing that causes his GeForce to slow down VERY hard... :D
The dust (when driving on the green) gives you a taste of what it could look like if your driving off road.
And the sun - well, I have to wear SUNGLASSES !!!

BTW: If you start the DEMO they strongly mentioned, that this is NOT the final version and that it will look much better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God ( what is this change in me? Why do I use that word so often? Sorry, I will have to decrease it ), some of us are lucky and someones ain\'t.

Some of us are able to play the demo of GT3 while someones have only seen pics of the great anticipated game.

I am in very unlucky position. I MIGHT have the possibility to play the demo as I am european, and own pal -ps2, but I can\'t find the friggin\' mag anywhere here!

Well i can\'t believe it, UK gets something 1st it seems :)

Its REALLY impressive, to see it in the flesh really drives home how good it looks, superb reflections, lighting effects etc, you almost feel like putting on your shades when racing laguna seca ;) The sounds is surprisingly good too - all three cars do sound different (i don\'t think anyone else had commented on the sound).

The do stress that this version is far from the final version and MANY enhancements graphical and gameplay are not featured......

Can\'t wait for the full version.

my manager better bring the demo in tomorrow..or imma...uhh...take his FULL VERSION of Onimusha ! and STILL take the Gran Turismo 3 demo and then keep it...KEEP BOTH !

Well, I dont know for your demo, but there\'s something that sucks very much with mine :

You have only 2mn30 to play.
After 2mn30 you have to reboot the PS2 to play again !!! (so wait 5-6mn to play only 2mns)

Except that, the game seems very cool, especially if you think that the demo is already old (september 2000).

I got it too today, and I must say I was quite impressed by it!
btw. what was your fastest round: pennzoil, trial mountain, mine was 1:28.360, is that fast?

yea..my manager told me the same thing kinda..he said that there was a time limit..but didnt tell me how long it was and that he had to reboot it to play it again...

if it is true..it really blows...you gotta restart the game just to play another 2 mins ? they should have put a option saying "Would you like to play again ?"

@ all: Yes, there is a Time Limit, but it´s no big thing to reboot again - not if you can play GT3 after doing this... ;)  (I am bad !!! :D )
Me and a friend where playing it for ONE hour, rebooting again and again...

TM: 1,27.966 with Nissan !!!
