I was cleaning my ps2 and I looked closely at the inputs for the mouse/keyboard/digital cam and they have a lot of dust inside. My question is, will this affect/damage the connecters? Does anyone sell covers for these inputs?
-
buy yourself a some canned air at a electronics store. That will clean them out safely
as for covers I know of none, but I wouldn\'t worry so much did you ever clean your USB ports on your PC, I never have and recently just hooked up a USB mouse to my PC with no problems

PSM2 issue (#04) gave away small plugs from Logic3 to cover up the ports to protect them from dust, you should be able to get them from the below url (its under ps2 accessories).

Thats exactly what I was looking for:D

or you could just put tape over them

i bought some covers at software etc.they are made by interact and come in 2 colors, blue and black, noth in the same package, all for 50 cents, yes thats right 50 cents, so go look for them first before you buy some for 5.00 bucks :)

I think I\'ll just put tape over them, I was just suprised at how much dust had collected in there.
