Title: Buying abroad

I need to know if I buy a Playstation2 while in Bangkok will it work back in the UK ? Both for output to the TV and game compatibility.

I have read somewhere that Playstation2\'s are region specific so I\'m assuming that it will not work.

That would be too easy !!

Any advice appreciated.

I assume Bangkok to be part of the Asian Market
