1) What about sound?
2) You need a new cable betwen the box and the video card if you want to be able to use the switch feature

And I\'ve been playing my console games on the monitor for years! No TV gets better quality video than PC monitors!

i have no comment about that so called vga box..i saw that i think on a site or in a mag..i think it was a magazine..either psm or opm of last month..they reviewed it too..

when i get home early from the suppose "worst snow storm in a decade" ill go and find out which mag and give you more info on it..

with this you will not be able to get the high resoultion as DC\'s. as dc\'s is a direct VGA to Dc thingy. This goes through S-Video, which is of lower qauilty, am I right?

that thing has gottenr eally bad reviews, there another one out there here thast a bit better, but i cant find a pic, get the other one :)

Any electronic product that is made to look like cheese, can\'t be good. There\'s just no way, for pete\'s sake, it looks like a piece of cheese! I can imagine it now, you and your girlfriend  get home, turn on your 32 inch television ($500), turn on your PS2 ($300), turn on your surround system ($500), pop in a nice romantic movie, get something to drink, and then go flip a switch on a block of fake cheese to switch the input from monitor to TV. I\'m sure your lady friends would love that.

I think this is a better version of a VGA-box.

Im thinking of buying one myself when I got the money.. It costs around 100USD here in Sweden! :(

thats the one i was talking about :) i heard some bad stuff about that one as well, but the cheese one was horrible, get this 1

$100 ?!? what are they smoking ? i think ill pass..im not that desperate to have a $100 good looking resolution..i might as well spend that $100 either on games or towards a flat screen tv

Thats just a waste of money if you ask me. You have to get speakers and the like. Plus most tv\'s have better picture quality than a computer monitor. And most people who do console game have bigger tv\'s than 21 inch.

actually, that is completely wrong. probably about 98% of all TV owners in the USA have a lower resolution than 640x480. this is not really debatable.

Wait for the TRUE VGA Boxes.. they should be out soon... :)
