go to http://www.harrypotter.com
personally I think it\'s pretty exciting but I don\'t know the usual opinion here. Well, I\'m about to see from the amount of replies and looks this thread gets; so this is kinda experiment at the same time... Woohoo! :)

It is also on the movie See Spot Run. It looked interesting, at least interesting for kids. I have yet to read the books, but it seems like that movie will be a must see for women and children, who are the biggest Postter fans. Of course Joyda can see it too, I\'m not inferring anything there.
-
Joyda can and Joyda will. Sorry everyone, someones may consider me still a kid; but I myself consider myself a teen ( thank you all ). Still I can do things meant to women and kids ( hehe ). So. I\'m definetely going to see the Harry Potter movie.
I liked the books; not straightly loved, but liked still. If someone referrs them kiddish, think again. They\'re really for all aged, and I\'ve seen ppl enjoy it from ages 10 to 30. It\'s a book where you still need some imagination, and if you\'re a bored adult, I don\'t suggest them. BUT if you\'re interested in Fantasy and something fresh, they might be a snack for you.
I preferr Lord of the Rings over Harry Potter, but that doesn\'t stop me from recommending Harry Potter either now does it? :)
This is what I suggest everyone interested in fantasy literature to do:
1) Loan Harry Potter book 1 ( sorcerer\'s stone ), read it completely. If it\'s cr4p in your opinion, don\'t read on. If you\'re not sure whether it\'s good or not, read on ( as the first book is the worst ). If you\'re sure it\'s good, then definetely read on. After all this, watch the trailer.
As the trailer gives you this certain image. HP ain\'t story just for kids and women ( but I gotta agree that most HP fans are girls; I still don\'t include to the FANS, but I like the books nonetheless ).
So let my research continue. About Aaron... whether he thinks HP is good or not, I don\'t really know.

Idon\'t like books in general, the damn things just take to much time to read,
speaking of books, I realized only just that I have to read 13.5 more books within the next three weeks for school *gulp*
-
What politie? Who is your torturer? I wish I could read the books for you [ as I read a lot when I want to ]
You don\'t like books in general.
Ok, I don\'t suggest you to read Harry Potter.
[can\'t hold breath anymore]
BHAWHAWHAWAWHAWHAWHAWHAWH!!!!
13.5 books?!?!?! Ha Ha Ha! I lied! I don\'t read much; maybe I would but what do I do? Post here! HAHAHA... G0D I hope my teacher of our beloved motherlanguage won\'t make up something so... AHAHAHAHAHAH
Sorry.. I had to do that really...

well, it\'s not the teachers fault really, since I had a year to read twelve duch books and 5 in english, I just didn\'t do it, probably cuz I\'m one of those people that lives from day to day.................oh well, last year I had to read 11 books, didn\'t read a single one of them, I still got a good point by fooling the teacher, I even made one of the books up, he asked what the book was about, and I just thought a story up

Ah, so it\'s your own soup you\'ve fallen to.
All I can say is "too bad". But that is human nature.
Let me tell you something about myself and my behaviour ( as I am lazy in studying ) wich can be compared to what you told.
Well, let us pretend I have History-exam next monday. And you all know History-exams need lot of studying. Today I will think I will start studying tomorrow.
Thursday, 10:00 pm. Time I planned to start studying
"Hoaaaah. Okay, I have plenty of time tomorrow to read. what the h3ck if it\'s friday; I just won\'t go out. Ah, let me watch this television-show in peace and read this book knowing I WILL study tomorrow."
Friday, 6:00 pm. Time I promised to start studying and sweared not to go out
"Aw, I won\'t spoil the friday-night by studying. Come on friends! Lets go party!"
Saturday, 14:00 pm. Time I should start studying...
"Well, it\'s saturday and I am tired. I just woke up. Ah, I will have time to study this evening."
Saturday evening
"Ok! Lets go watch The Exorcist - directors cut! What? Ok, 9:00 pm. Lets meet at the bio rex!
And I didn\'t study before I went to the movies, as I was lazy. And I didn\'t study after the movie either. Then comes sunday.
Sunday. The day of pain and terror. The day when I finally realize the exam is on Monday and I don\'t know a thing of History as I\'ve been lazy and not hearing the teacher at History-classes; but drawn to my book small pictures
11:00 am
"G0d, help me! I haven\'t studied... but I got the whole day! Woohoo... time to have some fun first..."
The fun lasts ( writing here and watching some movies ) until...
7:00 pm
"What? OH GOD NO! THE HISTORY EXAMS! Time to start studying".
This is the time when I usually really realize the threat of the upcoming exam, and start to study. Well; it takes the whole afternoon, and usually so long into the night I am so tired on monday morning that I will get a really bad number from the History exam.
That is life.
Remember, this was completely fictional, but based on true experiences!

I know what you mean, I just like you have no self discipline at all, usually the first time I actually look in to the exam papers is 23:00, I haven\'t done the slightest piece of homework this year, the only thing I do for school is learning for exams (in bed, that is), but I seem to manage, so that\'s alright
-
Same here politiepet. I still survive trough all the exams, and that is what I usually call a miracle :)
Nobody can say I read a lot. I am not just that type. I am too lazy and I have no self discipline ;)
But I always say "I\'ll study harder next year" :D

ahhh see yall need to be like me
i never study but i get good grades..lucky i guess
i teach myself everything i know - thats just the way it goes - i look at the text book and skim through stuff in class and all of a sudden i remember it all on test time
yep i even do my research papers the day before they are due - like the one for tomoorow - uh oh - oh well i will just go to class some other time - ahhh gotta love college and easy professors
yep you just need to learn how to skim through and reatin info - it works for me
-
Well, everyone don\'t own a brain wich inserts information and keeps it available as you read. Some of us need some studying :)
And I usually get quite lazy grades. From C to A. Not worse \'tho. But usually it\'s C.
I envy those who don\'t read at all, and always get B+\'s and A\'s, and there is people like those...
