I am very bored so I started a new topic.
Ohh well I bought a new mouse, one of these (http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/80) babies.
here\'s a pic
(https://psx5central.com/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.logitech.com%2Flang%2Fglobal%2Fimages%2Fproductov80.gif&hash=fc01dab8a950aa7ea9b9a4fdc22b2eaf218a7581)
I\'m loving this thing.It vibrates ;)
Now I only have to get me one of these (http://www.func.net) to go with it
:D

as soon as i get paid this week im gonna get me an optical mouse too. im so sick of my crappy $15 microsoft mouse!
-
how much was it, i think its pretty cool looking
-
hey, a friend o mine has the same thing (it looks like it anywayz), it works quite well actually, if I\'m ever gonna buy me my own pc, this thing is gonna come with it!
-
I have no idea how much this thing costs in dollars.
And I can\'t use any other mouse shape,I used to have the original with a ball.I\'ve gotten so used to the shape that other mice just get on my nerves.
The only thing I like more about the original one is that the buttons reach all the way to the boarder.
-
What exactly is an optical mouse? How is it different from a regular ball mouse?
-
No ball.No moving parts. An infrared light shines and a little camera thingie scans the surface 1500x a sec.It has all kinds of cool glowie thingies aswell.
-
meh, mines better:

-
You and your fancy mouse...
I can live with my "crappy" 15 buck Microsoft mouse! No! Actually this costed 50 bucks when I bought it!
Oh and it does work with a ball. And is beginning to get old. And I should buy a new mouse.
But still I will survive trough the .net with my old buddy here!
-

they had Logitech opticals on salr at Circut City last week. $30 bucks i think. hopefully they will still be on sale when i get paid
-
Ryu, the Logitech that nO-One has is actually better than that Microsoft model. You\'ll notice it once it\'s in your hand. I have one similar to both made by Micro-innovations, it was about $35 when I picked it up.
I just love the buttons on the side of the mouse. You can use them for going backward and forward in Internet Explorer when browsing different pages. I didn\'t figure this out until months after i had it! Try it out if you haven\'t already. :)
-
hey no one i see you said it vibrates
when does it do that - i never heard about it doing that?
enlighten me if you will?
or someone else if they know.
-
Ryu I don\'t like the shape of the MS explorer.I need Logitech\'s shape :)
And Sublimesjg it gives you forcefeedback. If you move iver a link or an icon or anything like that it\'ll vibrate (more like send a pulse into your palm) it\'s something you have to try to understand. You can make all kinds of themes for the vibration Metallic, rubbery etc.
I love the thing

Man this sucks I wish I had a good paying job. I get home from school and basically do nothing. My computer blows and my dad is too gay to buy a new one. "Why do we hve to get a new one, whats the point" Thats what he thinks. Wanna know how bad and old my comp is.....
250 MHz
3.5 Gigs 3.5 ****in gigs, god i hate this piece of ****. At least I got cable, that KIND of makes it better.
-
I have
500mhz AMD K-6 2 3D Processor
4gb HDD
Slightly better but it still sucks. My dad is pretty cool about buying new comp stuff but I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want a new HDD and he refuses. Looks like I\'m gonna have to buy one myself. :(
-
Hard drives aren´t very expensive.
You should be able to get a 10-15 gb drive cheap.
-
Ya but I need that cash for games. I had about $200 but then I went out and bought a Multitap and TimeSplitters. Almost $100 right there. : \\
Plus I buy a new game mag every week or so. Plus last month\'s WWF PPV which I split with my little bro. Still an extra $15. :crap:
-
I got free PPV so I can watch the PPVs for free. But TimeSplitters is definetly worth the $50.
I don\'t want just a new hard drive i want a new computer with a new monitor keyboard and mouse and everything. My computer sucks big donky ass its so slow besides the internet.
Whats so good about an HDD? What is it, lol?
-
I got a 20gb hd at best buy for like $80.
-
HDD stands for Hard Disk Drive.
Thx lucasbiggins. :)
-
I just bought the new logi optical and love it.
GO LOGI!!!!
-
I upgraded my computer about 5 months ago now, and bourght all new bits including the same mouse as RYU\'s its so cool all those buttons and a red glow.
cost a bit but, u get what u pay for......

I paid 40 dollars for mine and then I messed up the USB cable really bad and CompUSA replaced it for free.

I have held it, my friend across the street has one (he used to work at office depot and he got the sucker for 10 bucks) and I prefer my one extra button, and the shape, on the Explorer to the Logitech\'s vibration and shape.
Ryu I don\'t like the shape of the MS explorer.I need Logitech\'s shape
I\'m sure if I bought you a Razor Boomslang and told you to get used to it for gaming purposes, you\'d prefer its awkward shape :) Nothing beats a Razor as far as gaming goes with its DPI, but the Explorer and the Logitech opticals do just fine in comparison and they have more buttons and features.

Up until June, I had a Sony P1 233. I know how you feel man, sucky comps suck hairy balls, but you\'ll get a new one soon enough if you ***** and moan and complain enough... or you can just save up with a good job. I can save enough money for a new Alienware top of the line comp in about a month and a half if I go by my companies minumum wage line. (about 15 an hour)
