Do PS2 DVD games have regions like DVD movies or do they have codes like games?

They have codes like games

3 codes

Pal europe and australia/NZ
NTC JAP japanese games
NTC US us games

yeah I think just movies would fall into territorial codes

and games would follow the already existing US  Japanese and European/Australian territories

But then we come to the DvD issue. With Australia and Europe having different region codes would the games still work ? (DvD versions only)

psx australian games work on a european machine, i think its the same with DVD games

BTW did any of you guys hear that xbox doesn\'t have any teritorial lockout, cool eh??
