Ok I picked the Bouncer up this weekend and I was very impressed by the graphics, gameplay, story, and sound... :D
The fight scenes are short in the beginning and there are a lot of cut scences you have to go through.. But the game is very good overall. Here is my problem..
Ok there is a setting that allows you to set the movies to Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. NICE :D but when the game switches from standard dolby to DD 5.1 it send this garbage to my speakers. The garbled high pitch noise for about a half a second to a second. Well its not that long but it sure as hell wakes you up.. I don\'t like that. I thought maybe it was a one time thing but it happens everytime.
:rpissed:
Maybe its because my receiver has to switch sound modes and does not do it fast enough, I don\'t know. But I have have never had an issue with anything else. ARGGG.. That one thing really pissed me off about this game, poor programming on that part. The game itself is great, just that bad peice of code makes me mad...... :rpissed:

I too purchased the bouncer last week. I set it up for 5.1 digital surround and my receiver handles the changes from 5.1 to regular prologic just fine. I suspect your receiver just doesn\'t like changing sound modes so frequently. To test this you should try your game on another DD 5.1 system and another PS2 if possible. Obviously if the problem follows its likely a bad PS2 disc, if the problem is gone, then you know its your receiver. It\'ll be easier to test once we have more games out that use 5.1 digital surround sound. Hope this helps. :)

i rented the bouncer this weekend. boy am i glad i didnt purchase the damn game. everything is fine except its too damn short. i finished the damn thing in 8 hours. thats including building up all three characters. the versus mode is a joke and the fighting brought back alot of memories of double dragon. smile, and have a good day.

kirath,
I\'m gonna assume that you have a optical cable for your ps2. :)
If you do, make sure only that is going to your tv/receiver without the analog audio cables.
