Or so say DailyRadar;
http://www.dailyradar.com/reviews/game_review_1312.html
Good call ddaryl, good call!

its funny there\'s alot of people over at IGN\'s PS2 board calling DR a BS site for this review, and they\'re all PS2 fans
I swear you can\'t please anyone these days
I have yet to see a review that scores RoR under a 8 so the game IMO is obviously good
I cannot wait to play it, although I will wait before I call it the best console strategy game of all time
Heck I\'ve only playes FM3 as my other strategy game so I wouldn\'t be a good source on that one
never the less as long as it wows the crowds

I\'m pleased to hear that it actually has a steep learning curve and provides quite a challenge - most of the PS2 games out right now are a tad bit on the easy side.
I probably won\'t end up playing/buying the game until early May though since I have interviews and exams through April, and I\'m waiting on ZOE + MLS ExtraTime in a few weeks, regardless it\'s one I\'m really looking forward too.
IGN gave it an 8.5 I believe.

.
Me too, a long challenging game will do nicely
IGN did give it a 8.5.....

Lavan, most of the PS2 games out there now are not worth buying or just suck ass. So is Ring of Red going to have any replay value or is this a storyline only game?
-
My interest just got up towards the game!
Quotes like "Not only is it one of the best console-based strategy games of all time, it also shows a level of quality that is lacking in many PS2 titles." can\'t be forgotten :)
This is one maybe-a-must-buy ( I\'ll test it on the shop, when it may FINALLY arrives to Finland - wich can take a while ).
8.5 means very good game... and I like strategy-games. Maybe this IS the game for me...

i have been awaitng this game since there was word of it, anything that has to do with WW2 and hitler, i must have :), it looks like its going to be a greatgame, i read a review in psm\'s mag, and they gave it an 8.0, i dont know about the replay value, seeing as how its such a long game, it might be one of those one time and then wait a few months then retry it games. but who knows?? maybe it might just be that good, we wont know until it comes out.

This game is defiantly of interest to me.
I consider myself a World War 2 history buff and have been waiting for a good strategic game on a console based(loosely) on it.
Unknown, did you know in Japan that the story was even more controversial. At least at first, I dont know if they changed it.
At first, Japan instead of there being the united States also had a Nazi Regime, and they were the ones that stole the prototypes from the Russians, so originally you played as COMMUNIST RUSSIA, which was even cooler.
I wish I had more money.
Looks like Im not gettin ZOE anymore.
Looks like my money is going to RoR.

Have you played the game ???
How many console strategy game shave you played ???
I think it can very well be the best console strategy game of all time
How many next gen console strategy games are there to choose from ????
every site rates the game at a 8 or higher, and all praise it for something
I think the game will rock
I just wish someone actually had it today

Man, if this game can get me as hooked as I was with Final Fantasy Tactics, I\'ll be a happy camper. We\'ll find out tomorrow.

Damm I was thinking the same thing. Ring of Red seems like a fantastic game..one of the sleeper hits of March. Orginaly I was just going to buy Onimusha and Z.O.E this month, but I\'m really really considering RoR. The only thing thats shying me away is the steep learning curve..its not that I\'m afraid that I wont learn..its just that I dont have as much time to invest in videogames anymore. But if Ring of Red turns out to be highly addictive..then I\'m more than willing to sacrifice a few hours of study time ;). I\'m still waiting for some reader reviews...I want some detailed reviews now..I know DDaryl is getting it..hopefully he will post some impressions.

I\'ve been looking at this game since they announced it. I loved FF3 so I was instantly hooked on this game. The thin g that gets me the most I surprised it sliped by me unnoticed. I had no Idea it was already out. That is to say that it will be released tommorow. Im definatly picking it up.
