Interplay announced that MDK2 Armageddon has been approved for mannfacturing and will ship to retail later this month. Yes!!
I hope this game will be better than the Dreamcast. :)

mdk2 got a 95% rating from IGN
MDK2 is a phenomenal game and a worthy addition to your Dreamcast library.

A friend of mine bought the bootleg copy in chinatown and it messed up his DC. That sux but thats what he gets.
Definate classic but I doubt I\'ll be getting it if it is the exact same thing as the DC version. Are there any new features or is this a direct port?

i rememebr when i played the first MDK ever, wasnt it for the pc? it was a sweet as game, i like ho you could drift down with your huge cape, and snipe people, i never played the DC version though i would like to give it a try, and when it coems out for ps2 i may just buy it.

There are supposed to be some new features,new level\'s etc...
But I think it will be similar to the DC/PC version.

I sold my Dreamcast one month after i bought it and got back a Playstation 1. Hummmm....... Dreamcast is out only 1 year and 5 months right.......Playstation 1 has been out about 6 years...........Playstation 1 cost $99.99. Dreamcast cost $99.99. Huh? Dreamcast the mighty 128 bit System costs the same as a 32 bit Playstation 1? Now what you talking about looking COOL! Look at your self. M&M. What, the candy? LOL

yer arguing moot points. the admins here DO NOT condone system bashing, and HEAVILY endorse pro-DC fans. mm plays his DC FAR more than his ps2. no need to explain why.
oh, and its not wise to attempt pot shots at mm. it will only earn u an embarrising pic, OR removal from the forums. this might be yer chance to umm, step down homosapien

Something is wrong? For every good game on the PSX I can name a better one on the DC. It is cheap because biased trolls did not buy it causing Sega to pull out of the Hardware game. Just because it is cheap does not mean that it is not an excellent peice of hardware.
BTW, If you are looking for someone to back your obviously educated assumption that the DC is crap then you are in the wrong place.

What is this? The Sega Sports package for $99 dollars? Where are you getting these prices, son? I saw that package for $219 dollars BEFORE price drop on Walmart\'s net store, now its $149.99 give or take. What are you trying to display to us showing PS1 is better than a DC? Worth more than a DC? Bah!
For your vital information, Dreamcast is far superior to Playstation at current state. State of the art graphics engine, better sound system, faster processor, in my opinion better controller. And to put you to complete shame, it plays 85% of the PS1\'s game library via Bleeme!. So theres NO trade offs into buying a DC. It plays both PS1 games AND its own games. I find that unique concidering Sega never anticipated on third-party software making their own console backwards compatible with a rival. And get this. This is straight ripped out of a September 2000 issue of ODC (Offical Dreamcast Magazine for dumies who don\'t know:)) Playing PS1 games via Bleeme! can show phenemonial improvement in graphics. It upgrades the PS1 game being played in terms of graphics by playing the game at 640x480 resoultion (from PS1\'s 320x240), full scene anti-aliasing, and bilinear filtering with more vibrant colors.
I guess theres nothing else to be said now that I pointed some vital facts.

Correction on last post concirning Bleem! The article I took it from appeared in September 2000 from ODC, which I\'ve been told was delayed numerous amount of times. BUT, without the ignorance I\'m here to prove it still exsists

unless u have a coupon, OR kaybee is stupid, theres NO way u paid 99$ for the sports pack DC. the smash pack DC sells for 119$ alone

I may have gone a bit overboard on that statement. :D But I still beleive that the DC has has a much more AAA titles than the PSX(and the PS2 at the moment)

so the DC is RPG limited. not its fault. i blame the develpoers. the DC could handle an rpg 100 times that of ANY ps rpg, if only someone *cough* squaresoft *cough* would take a chance.

Ah, after those security-checks, let me get back to this topic right here.
I remember playing MDK on the pc years ago. It was really good when it came out, as it was fresh, full of very funny and good ideas, full of atmosphere, large, hard etc. etc. In other words, I loved it :)
Now I\'m anticipating MDK2 and I think it\'ll be the next game I buy. I don\'t care if the PC-version or then the DC-version would be better ( wich I STILL doubt, as MDK2 would\'ve been launch-games if a straight-port from DC ), I don\'t own the game yet, and I want to experience it. My pc isn\'t good enough and I don\'t own a DC, so I go to the Ps2-version.
I\'m not expecting any extras, maybe there is. But I don\'t care. Like I said, I don\'t own the game, I haven\'t even played the game, and I just want to experience the game. Be it what it was on the PC ( a straight port ) or then add some ps2-extras. Of course even the small ps2-extras are better than nothing, but they don\'t have to be there.

I wouldnt say that the Dreamcast has more AAA titles than the Playstation already
I will agree that it has a much better ratio of AAA games to not AAA games.
I mean, there are ALOT of good games to get on the PSX, you just have to wade through the crap, an as long as your not an idiot,then you wont get much crap.
I mean, when was the last time you bought a bad PSX game.
I havent bought a bad one in a while.
Actually, I have only ever bought two games I didnt like.
Beyond the Beyond(terrible game)
Saga Frontier(I hear the second one is much better)
But the dreamcast does have a better ratio.
And MM, I didnt mention all RPG\'s, and Im sure there are a bunch more Im forgetting.
