yup, you heard it here, I am officially impressed by today\'s X-Box shots, especially of Halo, and that Amped game! wow! also, I am glad it has given life back to this ole forum.

I am impressed too. I guess the popular thing is to say they suck. I really like Fever. If it turns out half-way decent I will have to get it. (I always seem to get consoles because of a football game.)

thats basically my theory too. I got a genny for Bill Walsh College Football. Got a DC for NFL2k (and NBA2K and Sonic) got a saturn for Virtua Fighter 2, hehehe


NFL Fever is supposedly a really good PC football game. I havent really heard too many comparisons against the seminal Madden or NFL2k*s so I dont really know.

Too many fanboys on here to really care, I have been through this with the DC. so I really don\'t care :)

I thought the shots were okay, but not the leap in graphics I was expecting and there are several PS2 games that look better - however, the X-Box games still aren\'t done yet.

Halo impressed me the most, however what really would have sent my heart racing would have been shots of any X-Box Motocross Madness, Midtown Madness and NBA Inside Drive games. NBA Inside Drive was a really underrated and unapreciated basketball game, and both the \'Madness\' titles and their sequels are brilliant.

Still, early days yet.

thank you for explaining your opinion in a nice, reasonalbe fashion. Not in complete idiocy of people such as Akramh, N-Player, amongst others who feel their choice is somewhat threatened by X-Box? Who cares! Every system has games that make that system worth getting. That has always been my motto (I think it is on my profile)

I thought the pics were pretty good, although I still am a bit skeptical about some of the games as far as the gameplay.

Hopefully, it won\'t be all graphics and no gameplay.

Most of the pics were quite nice, but not totally, utterly fantastic and mindblowing. What was up with all the jaggies in the car game for example? But overall I think the pics were nice. And with time they should improve a lot (or so I hope :)).

While I\'m not blown away, I am impressed.   It looks like X-box does deserve a place in the market and might give Sony and Nintendo a hard time...
