Hey,
Looking at getting one of those LCD screens. I say an Interact and a Pelican. I know there are others out there.
Does anyone know which one is the best in terms of quality, price, value, etc?

I\'m thinking of getting PSone and that LCD moitor! :bounce: :) No....... I will get one. Man.......$150 for LCD.......$99 for PSone.........Dammmmm that\'s $249!
Hey, some day there will be a Playstation 2 LCD Mobile moitor.........Oh....they have to shrink the Playstation 2...:) I WANT ONE

I hear from stores that Sony\'s LCD might be 8 inches instead of 4 to make it easier to see the writing and such things. But they don\'t even have a date for thiers yet.

holy crap 150 bucks for a measly small monitor forget that....i mean u cant even carry it around unless u have a place to plug it in...ill stick to my 29 inch tv

i am waiting for the official one, if you didnt know they have now made the ps1 a fully mobile console, by making a battery pack for it, i think interact ,made it, bad thing is its the size of a rugby ball, pretty friggin big, they also made a back pack so you can carry it around, it only last for 3 hours, sony wont release one till they come up with the tecnology to make a smaller one

that rectangular LCD screen by InterAct can be used on PSOne, DC, N64, and PS2..so in other words, you can use that LCD screen on those systems i just listed..so $150 is worth it..i tried to hook one up at my job but i couldnt get it to work..i think i was hooking it up wrong

The new OPM sizes up the two current LCD screens. They like the Interact one the best because it has better sound and I believe that it comes with a cigarette lighter type plug in power supply for the car.

wow I take that back, that would be pretty useful if that lcd screen can be used for all consoles. Wow and the psone has a battery pack now? thats pretty sweet. BUt still its still kinda hefty to pay for all that just so u can play ps1 games on the go...but then again it would be fun to be playing my old ps1 games on the plane, or the bus , or at class. hmmmm no doubt its useful, but I dont think i\'ll ever buy it, mabye cuz im a stingy cheap bastard....plus im a poor starving unemployed college student :eek:

Thus far my biggest beef is that the peripheral is more expensive than the core unit regardless of the fact that it\'s a display and sound system all in one. $150 is pretty steep for an accessory that you won\'t be using all of the time.
