I read this funny article from a finnish magazine called Mikrobitti.

"In eBay, one guy advertized to sell a brand-new ps2-box and instruction manual. The starting price was 6 dollars. Well, like you can quess, the bids increased fastly, cranking the price upwards. Soon the price had surpassed the price of a PS2 in America. Finally a guy ( can\'t remember the username ) bought the PS2-box and instruction manual for 415 bucks.

Our lucky winner, then, got in mail an empty PS2-box with the instruction manual".

Can I just state how idiotic the buyer was?

Firstly, he went over the PRICE of a brand new PS2 in the states. That\'s idiotic.

Secondly, he can\'t sue the seller, as it clearly stated "Box of PS2 with instruction manual". But I can feel the anger and disappointment of the buyer even from here :laughing:

I would\'ve gone for the "joke" too, ( this really happened.. but was really EVIL joke from somebody ) if Id\' been SO desperate to get a PS2.

I don\'t know if this is old, but I just read about this yesterday, and thought of posting it :)

Yup, I remember laughing my butt off at that one about half a year ago. It was quite hilarious.

That\'s really messed up.  But then again if it did clearly starte BOX and manuel then the guy really has no case in court and he\'s just another victim...
