Segas president Isao Okawa died in a heartattack today.
One of the man that created this world of gaming has left us.

I saw this coming. He had alot of heath problems. I thought he also had Colon cancer. Let\'s share a moment of silence

While it\'s tragic that he passed away, I don\'t see where he was any sort of a legend. Perhaps if he had been a better CEO, then Sega might not have been in the position they are today. What really made Sega great, were their games.. and you can thank Yu Suzuki and the plethora of other increadibly talented developers Sega has working for them.
Sega, as a corperation, has done many great things that (unforunately) haven\'t caught on with the rest of the video game corperations. (I.E. No territorial lockouts, a firm stand against congress over videogame content, A strong urge to innovate... ect). While I don\'t know if Okawa himself is responsible for these characteristics of Sega, he at least allowed them to happen. Thank you for that, RIP.
