Title: a bit of an odd question

okay, it\'s not like I really care, but I was just wondering, if it\'s possible to use the dvd remote as a controller, does anybody know this, I know it\'s a stupid question and I don\'t even own a remote, but I just need to know so my mind can get a rest

Sonys remote is supposed to work as a wireless controller.
You can use a ordinary remote as a controller but they dont work good.

Yes, they dont work well. I have the interact one and you can only press one botton at a time. making it kind of hard to play any game. You must consider a direction is a single botton also. I have tried playing SSX with the remote. You couldn\'t jump or do any tricks (exsept a 180). It was hard and now I only do it for the kicks.

i want the sony DVD remote!  nothing official on a US release, right?
