With the recently released Onimusha being another in a long, long line of runaway successes for Capcom, it comes as no surprise that a sequel is already in the works. What is surprising, however, is that the sequel was under development long before Onimusha was branded a classic by the gaming populous; indeed, long before it even reached the retail market. The reason? The creators of Onimusha were so confident of the game\'s hit potential, they started work on the sequel even when the original was in the making. Well, that\'s Capcom for you.

The sequel, starring an enigmatic samurai sporting a very un-samurai-esque eye-patch, takes place a full decade after the zombie-zapping adventures of Samanosuke. Plot-wise, few details are known as of this writing, although gamers are all but assured of new weapons, fresh faces, loads of surprises and all the bells and whistles we\'ve come to expect from Capcom titles!

there\'s the preview of it on Onimusha 1, but i have yet to beat the game (just got it on Sunday)

eyh guys, could anyone of you tell me how long is Onimusha? 6 hours? 10?

depends i suppose, some people have beaten it in under 4 hours (game time, rather than actual play time i would think).

Onimusha can be beat within 3 hours easily.. I went through it, got all 20 flourites, done the dark realm and it was right at 3 hours.

i dont know about that clip, my friends and i played about 7 hours straight, and still didnt manage to beat it... oh yeah and that guy that comes down from the celing is really freaky... dont look into his eyes or you willget nightmares!!!!!

someone said Onimusha 2 was going to be a full 3D game. Since Onimusha 1 was designed for the N64 and then the PSx and then the PS2 the original 2D background formula was not messed with while Capcom was learning the ropes of the PS2


Anyone else hear this  ?????

Oni-Spirits.....Yikes. Its friggin\' hard. I threw the controller and busted it on level 5 of it. But, well worth it. Getting all 20 flourites isn\'t hard. Just be sure to backtrack alittle once you get the vision staff that allows you to see flourites.......
