i had to send in my ps2 in recently cause the fan broke.... will i get a free game like sum of you?

A lot of people lie in here, too...well, not really. Mostly in the Nintendo and Xbox forums...

I guess he must of had massive amounts of trouble with his PS2, so they were nice and gave him a free game...that\'s cool. It\'s not likely that you\'ll get a free game, though...

You are never gonna get anything free out of SONY!!!  They are the most cheap bastards out there and I was lucky enough that they fixed my PS2 for free (even though it was still under warranty).  They almost made me pay $111 to replace the DVD drive on my PS2, but I had to fight and make phone calls daily before that got cleared up!  Stay away from the PS2!!  Its the devil machine and you better have enough brains to keep away!!

yo, magicman calm down a bit....
mabye they were in the middle of getting a bunch of them back because they had to push them out of the factories... but the paying money thing is stupid. luckily you go tthat cleared up. but hey, just ease up a little dude..:D:D:D be happy!:D:D:D
( oh yeah, and please refrain from using profanities on the message boards, the mods dont like that, they stated it on the page where you enter into the forums..)

I assume that is what you are talking about.  Do people kiss Mod\'s butts anymore here than elsewhere?  Half the people on this board must get really tired of smelling mud on their noses all day.

I\'m the one who said it and it\'s true.  They gave me Gamebreaker 2k1 when I sent my PS2 in the first time and offered me another game when it went in the 2nd time, although I declined the 2nd offer.

I declined b/c the only games you can choose from are Sony published games which mostly include 989 although you can pick PS1 games.

So yes, it\'s true.

I had to send my ps2 to get repaired (because my dad ****ed it up) and they told me they were going to send me a free game. But they didn\'t. They did send me a new ps2 (god bless ups for losing my old one) with everything, so I got 2 of everything plus a new controller. Also, since I blamed sony for ruining my game (which they didn\'t) they reimbursed me.
