I really loved the Gex games one psx.It was my favourite platformer along with Crash.
I got the original for free from some big ass Sony exec who was visiting Iceland along with his staff :D.

PSM2 #06 has a small bit about it being rumored. Thats all I\'ve heard. I love that series too.

One of the top programmers for the Gex team was hired by Naughty Dog.
I remember reading an article / interview a year or 2 ago about this.
Naughty Dog has alot of talent in there crew
I goofed with the Gex games but never finished one. I always loved his inuendos

Gex was awesome. I got the original Gex for the 3DO. Never played the 3D one though. Didn\'t look near as good.

I never played the original but I enjoyed the quirky 3D sequel. Many said it was a lame game, but not minding some (really) annoying camera glitches every now and then, it was a truly enjoyable platformer. Gex\'s humorous comments (of which many complained about) were OK by me and brought a bit more character into the scaly creature you were controlling. The levels were also nicely designed for most parts and there was enough hidden stuff to keep anyone satisfied with the purchase. Also worth a mention was the final showdown with the baddie, Rez was his name I think? Still remains one of the most gorgeous boss fights I\'ve ever seen on the PSX. The second PSX iteration I let go by because everyone said it\'s exactly same as the first Gex 3D, and I was having financial problems at the time too.
Gex sequel, Ape Escape sequel, Crash... platforming fun galore :)

Man, I\'m glad someone else enjoyed Ape Escape. That was one of the most original and fun PS games I can think of . The monkeys in it kicked total ass.

A high polygon Gex world would be sweet, but no mention of it and probably because of what I said above about Naughty Dog hiring one of the Gex teams leading guys

I like the 2D Gex better than 3D. I hope they go back to a really cool looking 2D Gex.
