Just like the PC game, the PS2 verson of SOF detail the trials and hardcore gunslinger. All violent action that made SOF anathema to parents will be included in this version, including the ability to blow off appendages and explode heads with a well-placed slug. COOL!!:) Is the PC version any good? Loading 2 pictures......

I dont find disgusting the violent scenes of the game.
The graphics are what I find disgusting.THESE ARE SOME OF THE SHI!TIEST PS2 GRAPHICS I VE EVER SEEN!!!

Looks like Paper Soldier of Fortune..This game is going to suck as much ass as a damn BSB concert...God i hate Boy bands...Oh wait that was uncalled for.....Soldier of Fortune will SUCK.........

yes, the game does look really bad.. i saw some pics earlier and thought they were early devlopment pics, but now that i see them again, ive changed my mind.
hope fully red faction will make up for this lost cause..

Have you played SoF for the PC? The game is a complete blast - gratituous violence, and fast paced action galore - it\'s the PC gaming equivalent of a John Woo\'s Hard Boiled, and as a single player game a hell of a lot better than Quake 3 and the damage system is excellent. Apart from the original Quake, some Q3 and UT, I don\'t really play fps but SoF was one of the few I really really liked.
Unless you\'ve played it, I don\'t see how you can predict a game will suck just from some bad screenshots.
Go download the demo for the PC and see how much fun it really is.

I own SOF for PC and it more better then PS2 because it look better, like one time, i shot man in gut with shogun and his gut came out :) and Online is the best!

Hey, altho\' those pictures look very bad, but don\'t judge the game\'s graphics by those two pictures! I mean, I believe the game is still in early state, and will be face-lifted many times before release.
That is nothing compared to the final product, I hope.
Because the graphics should be at least as good as on high-end PC.
But the idea\'s cool... to get SOF to PS2. I\'ve played the game a bit, but don\'t own it. Now I will get the opportunity ( someday ) :)

I like how Quake3 skin model better then SOF on PS2, so I think SOF on PC should be better then PS2 SOF.

i agree with everyone here,the pics don\'t look the best but then again it\'s just that,screens of a game in development. other games may look better than it but a game is not based soley on graphics alone (if that was the case with pc type games i wouldn\'t have played Half Life as much as i did / do,the models for the most part in HL look a bit crappy). the thing i look for ward to this game is the possible online playability with PS2 homies (ok bad choice of description :D ),but i do hope they can revamp those player models at least...

well i know it won\'t have online playability if it is coming out this month,no official modem,isp connectivity for PS2 is out,so unless there is a \'work-around\' all of a sudden,i\'d say there\'s no chance for it. maybe they have implimented it in the software for future connection but we won\'t see any game be able to get online until this fall or later i\'m thinking...

i seriously hope some sort of big ass patch allowing the games to be played online would be released for most of the great games out now and in the near future will be released by the gamnes developers...thats what the developers of UT said they would do a while ago

well evis i guess you wont be getting it then cause it has no online playbility right now, all they have a 4 player death match, and i dotnt hink there gonna add it on, maybe in a later sequel?

Looks like theyve switched off (or are yet to do) light mapping in SOF on the PS2, can you see any difference in shade there, other than the change in textures from surface to surface - I wouldnt write this one off so quickly, anyone remember the early Dropship shots (not the nice rendered mockups, before that even) and how they got put down badly because of it?

Those pics suck compared to pc.. Though it may be early development.
I\'ve got the pc version. Finished it too. The game was GOOD at first. But once u get past the gore it\'s quite boring and plain for a FPS game. Deus EX ANYDAY. :D

Hmm not too excited about SOF hitting PS2... purchased/sold the game for PC. Almost too gore E if you ask me but my opinion doesn\'t count! =]
