The game is sweet,i played it for about 30 mins,and what i played i like it alot.
Now on to MGS2,this game ROCKS,after i watched the intro,i felt really scared,i was like **** i have got to control snake now.
Believe the hype,this is going to be one great game,any way got to go and play so more.
I will post impressions soon!
P.S the only bad thing about the demo is that there are still japanese voices in it,i carnt wait to hear it with the proper voices.

I should get mine today ethan, looks like my friend down at a certain console shop has had the delivery and
he will let me have one. That MGS2 demo is wicked tho eh?, i had a chance to play it on a jap machine
in some importers the other day :D

Sorry but the last comment is a bit harsh isn\'t it. Maybee something along the lines of \'keep it stum\' would be

I will have to wait about 1-2 months before I can get my hands on Z.O.E.! And when I do, it\'s old and everyone has played it trough, and then, nobody will give a dam about my first impressions ;)

The Sexy Female Store clerk at EB said to me, don\'t worry if the Metal Gear Solid 2 Demo takes a while to load, onmce it\'s on you will be laughing :D.

I Did manage to pick up the game but beware...
Me and a friend picked up a copy each but my MGS2 demo is kaput!
Looks like i got a dodgy copy or something, anyway the lazer keeps dropping out on my copy but on
my friends it seems fine. i\'m looking at getting a replacement tonight (hopefully)
One thing tho\' that did piss me off was that the screen can\'t be centred. the picture is too high.
Once you get the game you\'ll see. Damn you\'ll have to wait till later till i post some thoughts.
At the moment i\'m a bit pissed off at having a dodgy MGS2 Demo :0(

i have still to check my copy, but i was told that if i get a black screen on loading the demo i should just wait a min and it should be fine, seem\'s like they have had people returning the demo, but if you just leave it a while it should be ok ..........
anyway i got to go now and do some work so that i can play it tonight.

No ooseven, the lazer was dropping out in a big way! some very loud thuds come from my ps2 drive
i left it for about 1 minute before reseting and trying again but same thing.
Droped my mates in and booted nicely, my main problem wasgoing from the intro to the game by pressing start
On mine nothing would happen apart from the drive spinning up to speed then clunking then dropping down
and then trying again. On my mates copy there was about 3 second interval from pressing start, at the same point, to actually playing the thing.
I\'m a little bit angry at this. or am i just going OTT

I have plenty of money for this game. The thing is i am saving up to build my own computer.
Do you guys think i should just go and buy it?
Or wait until i have my PC up and running.
How much is it in the UK anyway?

and yeah for the Demo and Full game of ZOE it is worth it if you like anything that Mr Hideo produces.

Sounds like a duff disk then, i would wait for a replacement because you don\'t want ot damage your Shinny New Playstation 2 now ;)

I got my copy from ***** at lakeside,they had loads of the game in.
The guy at game said that someone else broke the release date,so they had to follow,do you think that they could be in trouble for braking the release date?

Today during lunch time, I went to another store, they HAD it but they wait until tomorrow morning to
sell it ! DAAAAAAAAAAAMN !!!!
But....I still have a chance to got it tonight at my regular store...they\'re good guys...

Ethan, i\'m not bieng funny or anything like that but if sony finds out who are selling the game early they will
go nuts. i\'d advise that anybody picking this game up early, stop saying what store sold it to you.
This could effect shipments of games to certain outlets as they will be seen to have broken a release date

Ok i got mine from a strange guy in a back alley , he did not buy the game from Konami himself but stole it from the back of a truck full of them HAPPY NOW SONY !?! ?! ?! ?! ?! ?!
only J/k i bought mine from a high street store but i was strange that it was on sale a day early.
AND I DID PAY FOR IT AND IT WAS Original
But then again this only add to the hype around the game, so i think Sony won\'t be too upset over this one.
We got it a day early (Bloody hell nearly fanted)
usually it\'s 2 weeks late (that gosefor any game on any system)

Sony may go nuts,but it is the first store that brakes the release date,that is in trouble,as soon as the release date is broken,i guess all the other stores can sell it,because they havent broken the release.

when i picked my copy up that the guy asked me not to say anything to anyone as sony would kick up a right stink
Anyway my demodisk has now been changed (damn 12 mile drive) and now everything seems fine.
The demo kick @ss bigtime! Hope all those people who have defective disks can get sorted out 2morrow.

Both games are sweet,what game do you think is better?,right now i am going to say MGS2,but i am saving Z.O.E for saturday,because i am going to spend alday with it, i had a quick go and i really like it.

Graphically MGS2 wins in the resolution department, but for Graphics effects i think ZOE is rather impressive.
Iv\'e played ZOE for about 15 minutes and have only played the MGS2 demo once. Damn kids \'get to bed\'.
I, like yourself will give it a good going over at the weekend. I\'m glad to see that you managed to get a decent
copy of the MGS2 demo. Happy times are here. :D

seems to be set too high up, also there is no screen centering option. Damn!

I am so stoked for the ZOE MGS2 combo, luckily RoR is keeping me occupied until Tuessday or Wednesday depending if my Software etc picks up ZOE on the date or the day after
I watched that Gamespot Interview last night where they show the details going into MGS2, and its easy to see MGS2 will be one of the masterpieces this generation that will set the bar for all the rest. I say one of cause I expect a few more on all platforms.
But the detail level, and not just graphics, things like magazines and bottles being busted, Flour and potatoes being short and left to clutter the floors, using an empty clip from a pistol to toss and destract a guard, taking hostages and using them as human sheild etc etc etc....
MGS2 is just unbelievable and a game that will obviously live up to the hype IMO
BUT ZOE looks sweet as hell in its own right and I cannot wait

last night when i was playing i was up against 8 of them at once all at close to medium range, i could sware it was getting faster.

Good storyline and graphically well impressive. All those little effects bieng slumg around everywhere, Lovley
It looks like the PS2 gives these special graphic effects away for free. I mean that it doesn\'t produce a frame rate hit
whilst producing these stunning visuals. Excelent

I think, as a huge anime (and NGE-) fan ZoE is a must-buy for me.

Ok let me put it this way, it has to be the first game i have played in a long while that i did even move let alone take my eye off the screen. I have played it longer and more times than the MGS2 demo, the freedome that this game alows you is unbelveable, plus the attentuion to detail is well on a par with Metal Gear Solid 2.
Nearly full marks all round the only thing that lets it down is the lenght, but hey i am playing it again this time on Hard and i am loving every second of it.
Well Done Mr Hideo you have made another masterpiece.
Roll on ZOE2 please :D.

Right i am going back for more,i want to kick his monkey butt,i couldnt stop thinking about the game today,i really like it,do you like the intro music?
I think it is some of the best game music i have heard in a while.

There were some point that really got me emotional in the game,the bit that got me most emotional was when celvice got shot,and then that really cool bit of music comes in,where you see leo look back up at jehuty,and then i got a rush of excitement because leo finally got angry,and put it this way i didnt go easy on Viola,then after the fight i felt really sorry for her.
i DONT UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE DONT LIKE THIS GAME!!

yeah me to i got the bad ending too, but i am playing again and this time i got my first A rating for a Survivour zone :D.
Plus i didn\'t even get half of the weapons that are in the game, thats why i was unable to fight nimbus or annubie (what ever his name was) at the end.
Boy dose that look like it\'s going to be a great fight.
i know that there is a MUMMY head style power up that places a shield around Jenhty. i think thats one of the power up that you need.
also on the way to the Dam i noticed a downed Cyclops so i think there might be a chance to do another Raptor style level :D.
Anyway i am on hard just moving on to the EMS Dishes and i have so far defended 2 towns and got a
A and a C, notice a radio broadcast on hard that i am sure that was not there the first time "you know the one where the news reader says that there is a hospital full of people traped by Fire and SMOKE.
anyway back to the game after Miss Moneypenny has finnished watching EASTENDERS on the TV ;).

Yeah i got the mummy weapon,but i dont remeber that people traped and that smoke thing,i didnt see that,and i just saw eastenders,that is weird.

Yes, I loved the intro music too, and the following music as well (when you choose new game or load game...)..
Anyway I love all the sound in that game (Mmmmm Viola in the intro movie, saying "even if it costs the colony"...)
Well do you guys know what ranks you\'re supposed to get to get the good ending?
Cause I\'m stuck on the second rescue mission (town 2), all I can get is C : I have 100% survivors, but around 35% to 40% building destroyed.... I can\'t prevent these stupid robots from destroying the town....
I\'ve been trying it over and over and all I got is C, so I didnt save it. A B should be cool....
Anyway, that\'s a really nice challenge, and a good way to extand the lenght of the game...

Hmmm tricky question.
i think it depends on the damage infliced on the building before the rescue missions.
for example i got my first A from taking it easy on the very first few levels. after i got it i got a bit reckless and trashed some buildings on other zones by the time i got to the Second rescue mission the best i could hope for was a C.

Well, I have another question : is C enough to get the good ending?
If so, that\'s cool. Cause I tried it many times, and all I can get is a C. The point is, there\'s always a moment where
I destroy one building...so I\'ll have to try until I destroy nothing myself, to see what I get.
But the stupid mummys attacks with big laser/fires...they miss me and destroy something.

Hmm, I polished ZOE off the same day it arrived unfortunately :( but its worth a replay or two easily and the versus mode is good fun when you jack the level of two frames up.
Although shortlived it is, in my opinion, easily the most impressive title on the PS2 at this moment. For the \'rescue\' scenarios Ive found that if you dash through all the enemy squadrons you can cut out alot of the damage caused to the buildings by making them chase after you.
Also on the versus menu, have you noticed there are couple of blank spots for both frames and areas - unlockable perhaps? I hope so :)
