Title: guess whoi saw on the way home from picking up my copie of z.o.e
Post by: kopking on March 22, 2001, 11:05:45 AM: I was coming home after just buying zoe, and i saw Barry McGigan ( think thats spelt right) you know the famous boxer. I didnt stop though as i wanted to play the mgs2 demo, and let me tell you it is sooooo cool:D

Post by: Black Samurai on March 22, 2001, 12:08:01 PM: I sold a laptop to Ty Law (http://www.patriots.com/team/Personal.sps?playerid=270&playertype=1&go.x=14&go.y=11) and I got to hang out with Mr. T for a whole day, when I was younger. :D I was the coolest kid on the block when that happened.

As a matter of fact, I still am the coolest kid on the block.

BTW, Mr. T played a boxer in one of the Rocky movies. I wonder if that counts as a professional boxer.

And for the celebrities... I\'ve seen Teemu Selanne once :) Talked to him. The famous ice-hockey-player, you must know him :)

Post by: cridgedaddy on March 22, 2001, 12:15:33 PM: If we\'re comparing celebrity run-ins here, I\'ve got a couple. Nolan Ryan signed my baseball glove at an Astros game when I was about 9 or 10. He was still pitching for them then. I worked at a restaurant in Chapel Hill, NC, so I have also waited on Robin Williams (they filmed a lot of Patch Adams there). That was pretty cool; he took a picture with our staff, and was really a very nice guy.

Post by: Black Samurai on March 22, 2001, 12:38:32 PM: I used to work at EB in Atlanta. We had a ton of celebrities in there. Jermaine Dupri(SoSo Def Records) was there all the time. During the Super Bowl we had celebrities in there non stop. It was sooo incredibly tight. I got autographs from a ton on cool footballers and some basketballers.

BTW, This was in 2000 when the Super Bowl was in ATL. Also the Tennessee Titan cheerleaders are FINE as hell.

Ok, for real..I saw Grr...I forgot his name..he play for Bull and the best one but he quit playing basketball now. He give my his basketball! That is sooo sweet!

Entire Cubs Baseball Team - cool to work at a famous restaurant

Last year the Philadephia Eagles were playing local people from my area, like teachers, policemen, and our mayor. The players for the Eagles were Donovan McNabb, Troy Vincent, Hugh Douglas, Bobby Taylor, and a few other people. Well after the game, which was stopped short because one of the Eagles players shattered the backboard on a dunk which sent the mayor to the Hospital, there was an autograph session and I got McNabb\'s and Bobby Taylor\'s. I guess it was a pretty cool day. I also met Bill Bradley who was at a dinner party by my house, and stood behind Kobe Bryant in a line at a High School basketball tournament when Kobe was a senior in high school. (I live in Pa. and Kobe went to school here, so he was kind of famous when he was still in high school)
