Thanks to a friend on the Underground that wants to stay annonomous, new images have come to light that show that Amped wasn\'t the only "concept art" released during Gamestock that was "improperly labeled." In truth, Microsoft\'s crowning jewel and shining moment, Halo, appears to be faked. The evidence is in the shots:

Upon investigation, the "jaggies" of a low-resolution television image (when shown on a PC) are shown in the firing squad image, whereas in the Xbox.com image the surfaces are blurred and smoothed to look like a high-quality PC image.
Now, when one looks at the files for confrimation of their authenticity, the Xbox.com image is ruined by the simple fact that the X-box.com logo was added. However, the firing squad image appears pure. In it, when viewed as a text file (in Wordpad for you conspiracy theorists), the text: Creator: PolyView® Version 3.32 by Polybytes
appears in the top few lines. I do not know what this program is, or this company, but it almost appears (by its name) to be a simple screen-capturing program to be used in the background. No editing tools have left their telltale mark.
The biggest question about these is raised when one looks at xbox.com: These are not listed as "concept art," meant to represent the "final look" of the game. As anyone who knows anything knows, of course, Microsoft posted that "errata" to the images only after the farce was found. It is now a week after Gamestock, and these images don\'t have similar "markers" on them. I wonder why not, of course; if it was a simple oversight, why hasn\'t that been marked as concept art by now?

How pathetic can microsoft be? and stupid?....They have yet again FOOLED every xbox fan, not only that, but they insult our(gamers) intelligence when they do this crap.....i\'m glad sony never did this, atleast they said what was concept art and what was not...
so i guess if you really want to know what HALO looks like you will have to DL the gigantic 180+MB movie...but it\'s running at super high rez which means TONS of the details you see will be gone when you play on TV...

i see that criticism of the Xbox is discouraged, while ridicule of the PS2 is celebrated by you and the other idiot flock of anti-PS2 fanboys...which i find pathetic and sad....

You know, if you don\'t like MS that is fine. But give it a break, some people are looking forward to the Xbox. Last I recall, no one was forcing you to buy one .
