Title: Problems with Madden 2001
Post by: on March 22, 2001, 07:31:36 PM: I\'ve been playing Madden 2001 for over 2 months. All of a sudden I can\'t load any saved games from my memory card. Also when I take the card out and play the game the game slows up in between plays. Thanks. Kevin

lol, do you not like madden?

i don\'t know what that is though stoneman, maybe something wrong with your memory card. I know that i had some slowdown too but not bad at all.

Hmm as if that \'press the button to pass, qb passes 2 seconds later is any good.\' I had NFL2k1 since the day it was out, and the lag sucked. I tried it through my ISP, through SegaNet,.. played against a friend who lives a mile away, still laggy. There\'s no point to online play if it isn\'t near-perfect. Out of 20 game I\'ve played, maybe 1 or 2 were decent. Also, having online play doesn\'t make a game better. Quarterback Club could have broadband support and it doesn\'t mean it\'s better than a football game w/o online support.

As far as which game is better, that depends on the player\'s personal opinion. Each game excels @ something different.

Post by: datamage on March 22, 2001, 08:46:09 PM: As far as the topic goes, I think ddaryl narrowed it down.. your madden save might be corrupt. Ever turn of the PS2, or pulled out the card while saving/loading? Try making a new season/franchise and see if that one will load.

It\'s not like it is piracy, but if you want to know a way of getting a new madden without spending a dime just ask and I will give. Retailers cheat us all the time I just found out a way to get back at them.

Well for the \'newbies\' to online gaming, it\'ll be great. Though I\'m used to cable on my PC, playing with pings under 100. Some people just don\'t know any better.

Post by: Phil on March 23, 2001, 06:20:20 PM: 2k1 just sucks i mean dreamcast sucks nothing against it or anything 2k1 you run way to fast i mean nobody not even the great barry sanders could run like that sorry running makes that game sorry and the passing after you get hit has the same 3 falls and online sucks way to much lag and i live by nobody who is ever on the line

I need smarter ai.
