Yesterday night, I left from work early (5pm), to go & see if I had a chance to get ZOE and the famous demo...
When I arrived at my usual store and asked, the guy told me they have had it, but they sold every copy of it !
Damn, I was too late !
"Wait a minute" he says.
He picks his mobile, rings another store, hang up and says to me :
"Wait 5 mn. There\'s one last copy in our other store, and my guy his on his way to bring it to you.
You can pay now, the game will be here in 5mn".
Wow, cool !
5 mn later the game was here. Thanx guys , goodbye.
Came back home as fast as I can....put the MGS2 demo inside PS2...ok PS2 logo....ok let\'s wait....
and NOTHING !!!
I waited, reboot, waited again...the damn demo just won\'t work !!! I can\'t believe it ! I waited all this time to get a not working demo.....Too bad....
After a while, I decided to stop trying and to check if ZOE was working.
ZOE was working fine, it gave me a BIG BLAST...(I will make a short review).
Anyway, after playing ZOE for a while (until I found the first save point), I made a decision :
Ok let\'s deal with that crappy demo !!! Let\'s bring it back to the store !!! Oh damn, the store is closing in
less than an hour....let\'s hurry !
Here am I at the store : "Hi guys, remember me, the last ZOE copy....well, damn demo won\'t work".
They try it, and it\'s the same for them.
The same guy from the beginning says "Wait", pick up his phone, talks a few minutes and says
"Ok, be back in half an hour with your ZOE copy as well. We\'ll get a new shipment just before closing, we\'ll
replace yours, and that\'s it. Or come back tomorrow".
Ok, thanx, I\'ll be back ! Just as I was leaving, there\'s a guy working at the store coming in, and the first guy
calls me back "Hey, wait, come back !!!!!!". Luckily, the newly arrived guy had ONE copy (his copy) of
ZOE and the demo.....
His boss told him "Give your demo to the customer !"
The guy "But...."
The boss "You\'ll get another one in 20mn"
And he gives me the damn demo.....
That\'s the end of the story. I came back home, played the demo and it was working just fine.
Theses guys at the store were reaaaaaaally nice, I can\'t believe it....
Well, I can\'t believe the demo either...it\'s just to good to be true.
(What\'s to learn of this story, is that there may be some problems with the demo :
Just bring it back)

How do you like the Demo? :) I have not got ZOE yet...I seen a video of the ZOE at Software Etc. in hilo, and I did not like it. But i wanted that demo..:)

Well, the demo is a blast, it\'s just incredible. The game engine is awesome, the gameplay is excellent, the ideas and details are brilliant...
Well, you all saw the trailer, but it\'s real better on a big screen...
The demo is quick to beat, but I didnt have time to explore everything and try all new movements.
It\'s not that easy to play in the beginning, since you are impressed with the game engine, and you have to get fully used to the controls.
Anyway, the game is going to be huge, and the demo is pure pleasure.....
PStwo, you should try playing ZOE....it\'s really a class A title, it\'s worth a buy....

Hey no offence or anything but...
They should really change the front for the Z.O.E to say
MSG2 DEMO!!
with snake and gun and then have a yellow sticker on the bottom corner saying COMES WITH ZOE FULL VERSION!

Julien, thanks for the story! That was a great one and certainly something to remember in your old age! While I live in the states so it makes no real difference to me, it seems that you ought to give a "plug" to the store that had such helpful folks over there in Paris. This is a truely international forum and it seems they deserve props and such for their excellent customer service. Again, great story!

Yeah I was really impressed by theses guys, that was so nice. I decided from now I will only buy my games there,
and not in big department stores like Virgin....and I\'ll definitely advise it to my friends in Paris.
Well, for now, I just hope you all get your own copy very quickly to view these wonderful games !!!

you are so rightman, why the hell does everyoen want the DEMO does anyone care at all for the game, does anyone want it for the game itself!? not the demo would NOT pay 50 bucks just to play a 3 minute demo...
i want it for the game, im onna sell the demo on e-bay for 50 buy at a starting bid, you know why cause everyone WANTS the demo mwaha :p

my mgs2 demo isn\'t working properly either, sometimes it needs to loud a location for over 1.5 minutes!!!, and while doing it, the disc spins really fast making a lot of noise, and when I talk over the codec, that\'s where things really start to **** up.
But I won\'t complain, cause I was able to play the thing
