Title: I\'m new here. Hi people!
Post by: RaZe on March 23, 2001, 01:31:53 PM: Hey guys, this seems like a nice forum. I just recently purchased a PS2 2 weeks ago when I got my tax return. So far I\'m very happy with my purchase. I have ATV, Onimusha, SSX, and Ring of Red. All four of those games have been taking up a lot of my time. I pretty much like all genres especially action/adventure. Anyway, I just thought I\'d introduce myself. :)

Some things you should know:

1. Avatars: To get a pic under your name you must get 500 posts. Then PM mm or SoulGrind(more on them later) with the URL of your pic.

2. The Mods: Bjorn is the web master of this site and our god(j/k). SoulGrind and mm are the administrators. ddaryl, Aaron, and Samwise are the moderators. Kiss their butts at every possible oppertunity(j/k ;)).

3. Things frowned on: Spamming, flaming, fanboyism, and most importantly, piracy. Never, EVER post a thread about piracy. mm will kill ya :p.

4. Don\'t disrespect Clyde: Clyde is mm\'s chimp. A CHIMPANZEE NOT A MONKEY. Call him a monkey and you will get pooped on.

So basically don\'t spam, be a fanboy, or be an @ss and you\'ll do fine.

And oh yeah, enjoy your stay in the wonderful world of PSX2 Central.

My favorite game all around or just on the PS2? Well my favorite game of all time is Metal Gear Solid. So far my favorite game on PS2 is SSX. I also have a Dreamcast and Skies of Arcadia is my favorite game on that.

As for the X-box, well I really don\'t know what to think about it until I see more games and what the price will be. If it has enough games that interest me and the price is affordable for me, then I may pick one up. I doubt I will be buying another console for a very long time because I believe the PS2 will keep me satisfied for years. At least I sure hope so. :)

that\'s cool. i enjoy MGS very much on the PSX, and i can\'t wait to play the MGS2 demo. I hear SSX is pretty good as well but i\'m going to wait for the DVD version...

well, i respect your "wait and see" approach with xbox but i don\'t see why you need to see more...gamestock is enough evidence you need see to make a final judgement.
