I feel the same way man. I think some of the pictures just look amazing and at other times I think the characters look like they are made out of shiny plastic.
I just can\'t figure it out.

Post by: Tails on March 24, 2001, 04:43:52 PM: The characters look a bit like plastic-toys, but their details are impressive. I would like to see a video of the game, i think the plastic-effect won\'t appear at moving ingame-graphics.

I\'m not sure if PS 2-port of VF 4 will be (in terms of graphics) on par with the Naomi2-version. I hope that SEGA will have enough PS2-programming-experience to port VF 4 1:1 on the Sony-hardware.

The Virtua Fighter-series has always been my favourite beat\'em up-series, so i would be very glad about a great PS 2-port!

And Im pretty sure the game will look better on PS2.

This game looks better than any xbox game IMO :D

Iwas thinking the same thing. I\'ve seen games on PS2 already better looking then this though, so I\'d hope it made a perfect translation over.

Post by: Terry Bogard on March 24, 2001, 05:57:43 PM: Screenshots do not do anything justice these days, and you need to check out some MOVIES of the game in action it looks simply amazing, and the Naomi 2 board is just a DC with more memory and crap...at least what i heard.

the textures are great and the chracters are proportional but they look fake

You heard wrong. The NAOMI board is a DC with more memory.

yup nice textures, but the player models are screwed up, they kinda remind me how the sfex3 models looked, nice but klunky and a bit like apes!

The animation is incredible, hope they release some better quality movies of it soon
