This magazine made its way to sweden today, I payed 3 times the UK price.
I must say that the demo is not good, the demo is not from the finnished game, I guess 5 or 6 month old.
I was just not impressed maybe because I have played the MGS2 demo for 30 hours this weekend.
The main problem is that the ingame-graphics is not even close to the replay-graphics.
I really hopes that this game improves a lot before realese.

No the demo is good but its main downfall is having to reload the whole thing everytime you want to play it again :)

dont even worry about how good the game is going to look you know its going to be awesome

It\'s old code. The same I saw presented in GameWorld2000, the current version should be improved in looks.
What annoyed me in the demo, was that on Laguna Seca, the shadows were all misaligned when judging by the light source. If you drove directly towards the sun, the car\'s shadow was a hefty bit tilted to the right (or left, can\'t remember). Also, the big tyre that you go under; how come is the shadow directly underneath it? The sun sure as hell isn\'t shining from zenith position! What\'s even more amazing, the Laguna Seca track wasn\'t even included in the official track list for the game. Which is odd, maybe someone\'s fumbled somewhere again.
Tiny niggles... but it\'s little things like this that can easily break the illusion...

laguna seca was included in the line up, maybe you\'ve read the list ign had made some time ago, it was a list of what they thought would be the line up, it turned out to be not complete,
as for the track itself, I noticed the same things, as well as the crappieness of the trees, they don\'t look to be implented in the tr!ack at all

Also, notice the two trees some way beyond the Laguna Seca starting grid, as they present some really ugly pop-up, eeewww... well, PolyPhony is hopefully working on these details right now.. I hope.
Good thing the playability still kicks arse.
