Title: Lucas arts wants to know which next-gen platform you will buy.

    The interesting thing about this poll is that the X-box and PS2 are running about even however the NGC is ahead of both. Now since the PS2 has already launched and has about 10 mill installed that is understandable but the 3D accelerator getting 47 percent is amazing. You think Geforce 3 might have somrthing to do with that?

I just think the majority of users who visit LucasArts are pc-users, and tend to buy pc-hardware, not new consoles.

GeForce 3, i think, being as powerful as it is, has something to do with it. But remember the price. It is high, and many of my friends just bought GeForce 2 and are not planning to buy the third installment - as it IS pricy.

I go with my ps2, as if I\'d buy a giga-ton pc with geforce 3 it\'d cost WAY too much...

yeah..pc gamer are differnt to console gamers. I think all the pc/xbox fans vistit lucas arts alot. It seems weird that they are so popular. Lucky for us is that george lucast really seems to like ps2

The question is "Which of the following are you most likely to buy within the next year?" Many people already have a PS2, hence will not be buying it within the next year. On the other hand, 3D accelerators have to be upgraded or bought every now and then. People are going to buy NGC and XBox since they\'re not available yet.
