Well, since I own a PS2 and am planning to own an Xbox, of course I\'m excited about the TGS. Of course, PS2 will be making a large and glorious appearance at the show, but I\'m also excited about the Konami Xbox games. Konami just released a list of their Xbox games that will be shown at the TGS and their are some BIG names on that list! How about we list the games we\'re looking forward to seeing at TGS.

Konami Soccer Game (confirmed and will be shown at TGS).
MGSX (confirmed and will be shown at TGS)
Silent Hill 2X(confirmed and will be shown at TGS)
XGames Snowboarding(confirmed and will be shown at TGS)
Virtua Fighter X(likely to be shown)
Tekken 4 and Soul Calibur 2 (Seamus Blackley stated that Namco are currently developing games for the Xbox...could these be those games?)
Sonic Adventure 2(Naka loves the Xbox)
Dead or Alive 3(Blackley also stated that Tecmo are currently developing Xbox games and I\'m pretty sure DOA3 will be at the show)

Kojima himself stated they won\'t even start on that
til they finished MGS2 on PS2 and that around the end
of this year.
Yeah maybe some MGSX art impressions at most.

sweet, i really want to see what xbox graphics really look like.. it\'s ok if there arent that many games being previewed for the ps2, i mean everyone has one already so they dont have to stress it :) we will also get to know some more about the x box as well....

Yeah, the xbox site got it wrong.
MGS2 is mentioned in the text of the Konami statement, but the list of xbox games to be shown at TGS2001 (at the bottom) Does NOT include MGS in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM
Go get the page translated and see for yourself.

How did this post turn into a big argument about Xbox games and MGSX? I just want people to post what games their looking forward to seeing at the TGS on their favorite platforms!!!

Not arguing man, it\'s just that you have MGS listed as "confirmed and will be shown at TGS", and it won\'t.

I can see too much speculation.
If T4 ans SC2 are likely to be shown on XBOX at TGS then add them for PS2 as well.
OH OH and VF4 too should be on display on PS2.VF4 is confirmed on PS2.Crazy Taxi,Zombie Revenge and why not Sonic2?Sega works a lot with Sony.There could be an online demostration on PS2.
You seem to add so many for XBOX that arent likely to be shown.Why not for PS2?

I\'ve had an excessive discussion with a couple of people today while examining that document and we\'ve come to the conclusion that Xbox will not have MGSX at TGS.
The press release talks about MGS2: SOL once and it is preceded by mentioning the PS2....nothing about Xbox.
Yes I agree about the other titles but not MGS2.

I put down the games that I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING AT TGS!!! I put down the games I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING at TGS, not putting down a list of games for systems. I\'m sure PS2 will have more games than the ones I listed, but I just listed the one\'s I was looking forward to. I already own a PS2 so it\'s natural that I am anticipating the Xbox more! Does that sound reasonable enough to you. So shoot me if I\'m more excited about the the next gen consoles.

That list is not right,those xbox games are not being shown.
But i am hopeing that they show,new MGS2 material,i hope to see what it looks like with snake in new york!

As far as Konami games go everything in that list is right except for MGS2.

What are these games going to be shown on the Xbox?
Or are they the Konami games in general?If they are going to be shown for the Xbox,then people carnt say that they havent got support in japan!

IM more interested in FFX. Its suposed to be playable which meens we get an inbdeapth view of the battle system .
Hopeflly that is. It might just be controlling the character walking aroun din towns.

Ok ok!No need to be angry.Nobody has a problem with you about being excited about XBOX.
Now lets see.
Lets talk abou the games we are looking forward to seeing at TGS:
SH2,SX2,MGS2,FFX,WIPEOUT FUSION,VF4,The Getaway(hopefully),GT3,DOA3(for PS2 and XBOX),SC2,MALICE,MUNCH,MARIO,METROID,BOUNCER2,ZELDA,AC4,SHENMUE2.
Thats all I can think of for now

Why should you be? PS2 will have FAR more intresting and playable games at the show than xbox will...it will have FFX in playable form, no one will care about the xbox games because this is what the japanese wants...not HALO;)

all of which are ports except a few... and every konami xbox game has TBA right next to it;)

Konami adds three more Xbox titles to its lineup for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
Konami has announced on its official Web site that it will display three additional Xbox titles at its Tokyo Game Show booth. Working titles Jikkyo World Soccer 2001, X-Games Snowboarding 2, and Silent Hill 2 Xbox Version are scheduled to appear in video form only. The previously announced Air Force Delta II will be the only playable Xbox title at the Konami booth.
GameSpot\'s coverage of the Tokyo Game Show 2001 Spring begins Thursday evening.
Well Directxbox, no MGS on the list again. I don\'t know who your sources are for these confirmations but better find a new one

I can\'t seem to cut and paste it but go there and read it. The ONLY game for Xbox being showed off is Airforce Delta 2, no where does it say anything about any other game for Xbox
Uhh, lower down on that page you linked is the Japanese version of the TGS news ( http://www.konami.co.jp/press/2001/03/049/r.13.03.26.html ) and it seems a lot of stuff was left out of the translation, including that list at the bottom of that page that lists all the games that they\'ll be showing, as its unlikely that Konami will only show the 3 games listed on the english page.

Of course. It is always either Nplayer-2 or Jumpman. They always argue about things that shouldn\'t be argued.
FFX is what I really want to see. If they have Wipout it will be pretty cool too, but it\'s not very likely. I would love to see Tekken 4 or SC2 on any console -- I just can\'t wait to see those two fighting games games! VF4 will also be cool, but not as cool as T4 and SC2. Those are the games I would love to see.

if you ask me, people should only look forwardto the games they are intrested in.
All this arguing over MGS for the X box is getting old, Even if they get Metal Gear Solid 2 : Sons of liberty, it will just mean a boost to the sales of this game.
and therefore (i hope) there might be a chance of another MGS game on both systems.
but by the looks of things MGSX will just be MGS1.5 and we won\'t even see anthing of that until the PS2 gets ours first.
