It isnt the demos that are faulty it is the PS2,look read this.

That just stinks...
I hope the American ver, or at least mine are not going to run into this issue..
And I wonder if SCEA is going to tell us Americans if there is a problem with it, or are we going to have to find out on our own...???
hmmmm :eyemouth:

Well thats strange seeing that my first copy of the demo did not work, but on close examination it was scratch to f*** ( i noticed this before i tryed it on my PS2 , but i though it might just be some surface scratching), all i did it take it back and now i have one that is running sweet.
if you ask me it was a problem with the disks and not the PS2\'s.
Due to the fact that the scratched disk problem was not only confined to me.
-
damn, I\'m one of them peeps whose disc gets ****ed up!

was your disk scratched too ?
because when i got my copy the first time i notced that the paper wallet that the demo **** was in looked like it was open before.
also ZOE was placed in the case and it was not wraped in plastic (the Game + Demo + manuals).
but when i took it back yesterday i got a replacement and it is fine plus (the Game + Demo + manuals) where wrapped in plastic this time.
if you ask me it looks like they pamed me with a returned copy, that some one else F**Ked up
FFS EB thats no way to treat a Loyalty card customer :rpissed:.

no, that\'s not what i meant, the disc\'s surface looks fine, but the disc makes a lot of noise, and sometimes the disc has to load extremely long, plus talking by codec is ****ed up,
btw, You probably got a returned disc, those bastards, how could they!

hey thats what mine did it loaded up but it took for ever for cut sceens and the codec parts to load, i would take it back and get a replacement.
trust me you will know if everything is working fine due to the fact that everything loads very smoothly :D.

Stupid Euro quality control :rpissed:

He Politiepet, your description is the same as mine and
you\'re in the Netherlands as I am.
The strange thing is that when I started considering taking the damn disc back to the shop, and playing it a few times more : It got a little bit better ; as if it had to get used to my PS2. Sometimes codec gets slow but now things are relatively good with the demo.
I got mine at Replay, where\'d you get yours ?

Sorry to post the bad news guys, but i thought you would all like to know what is going on.
-
ITS NOT TRUE!
The discs are faulty, not the hardware.
They said so themselfs.
No, what they really said was "We dont really know that the problem is"
I know lots of people who got a faulty disc went back and got a new one! And it worked.
Sounds like a hardware problem?
I think not!

C & VG posted a similar story abnd say its the heardware or the demo just doesnt work, so they arent sure, here is the link:
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/story.cfm?sid=2418
i hope this isnt going to affect the U.S. wit such imapct

To bring my two cents, I personnaly think it comes from the disk ;
I had the same problem too, and had to bring back the demo, which wasnt working either on the ps2 of the
store. It proves nothing, but it seems more logical that it comes from the disk thant from the hardware...
Of course, Konami and Sony will defend their product....and accuse each other..

I got it at free record shop, but I don\'t think the store where you get it matters, cause they are all shipped by the same companie, (why am I talking in English to you?...oh well, never mind)
