Konami speaks on their hottest titles exclusively to the PS2 Era hitman :
On Saturday, Konami held a gamer\'s demo day at the Sony Metreon Sony-Superstore in San Francisco, California. PS2 Era contributer, Tim McGrew, was on hand for the event and got to speak up close with KCEA\'s regional translation director of MGS2, about Konami\'s plans for many of their upcoming games...
The Finale: Konami\'s Plans
Near the end of the play through, we were given some teaser material for both ZOE and MGS2. I have scanned much of the material below for your enjoyment, but I must warn you, the files are rather high in size. Finally, at the end of the day, we were given the chance to speak with KCEA\'s regional translation director of MGS2. Nothing is really new about the game except for a few things:
- · David Haytr is STILL unconfirmed as returning for Snake, but Konami is trying their hardest to get him.
Although they have yet to get Haytr, the same directors for the voice acting as used for MGS is working on MGS2 so we can count on the same amount of quality for MGS2 as MGS.
- · The game is on schedule for a fall 2001 release simultaneously in North America and in Japan.
- · Which version the Xbox is getting is still unknown. Anything you hear about it is nothing but speculation.
- · If you knock on a female poster in the locker room, you will alert the guards.
- · Kojima is unsure of the future of Metal Gear, but as was said by the director of the translation "he is concerned with moving forward with his career."
- · There could be a ZOE sequel pending the sales of the first ZOE, but given that the game will be a hit thanks to the MGS2 demo packed in with it in both Europe and the US, a sequel is practically guaranteed.
- · The translation director also mentioned that any development of both a new Contra and a new CastleVania is highly top secret. What this means exactly is probably that it is in development, but officially it’s not. Keep your fingers crossed!

I did it on the bikini one, not sure about the other though, btw. I heard about this kissing, but how can you do it (in the game of course)
ps.on very hard, you\'re not allowed to be seen, and the radar\'s of, I managed to play it out this way, but it sure as hell ain\'t easy!

even though the last Contra game was a bust,i\'m really wanting a new one bad,i hope they do it right this time.
-
A new Contra game would kick some rear-end, if developed right. With the amount of power that the next-generation consoles offer, I\'m sure Konami can finally do justice to the franchise in 3D.

Credit should go to me for writing that story. Here\'s the original link to that post:
