Do you think it\'s worth buying the official GT3 steering wheel to play the game or should we stick to out trusty sticks!
-
I haven\'t seen the GT3 wheel but I\'d imagine the sticks are just fine :)
-
I think it will be fine with the Dual shock(best controller)and from what i have played of the demo,it is fine, but i am going to splash out and buy the wheel,i want it to be the best experience ever!
-
The sticks will serve you just fine.
-
Sirs... we are talking about a TRUE FORCE FEEDBACK steering wheel !!! :D :D :D
I WANT THAT WHEEL...
I WANT THAT WHEEL...
I WANT THAT WHEEL...
-
It\'ll be hard as hell with that damn wheel. Have any of you tried GT2 with a wheel? Damn near impossible, at least with the one I used. Analog sticks all the way for me.
-
Sticks.
-
the analog sticks will work fine, but i want the steering wheel, it gonan be the best steering wheel ever, not some crappy ass one, this will be the alpha and omega of steering wheels..
-
I won\'tr even buy GT3 if I can\'t have the wheel
I couldn\'t even consider GT with a DS
I played GT1 with a handheld wheel from interact, it took me a couple of days to get used to it, but once I did there was no way I\'d go back
The fact that this is a forcefeedback wheel made to fit GT3 it\'ll be kick ass
Guaren****ingtee I will have this wheel
-
I used a wheel for GT2 and it was alot harder at first but it feels just so much better. Then you get used to it and your a better driver for it.

The official wheel for GT3 is the Logitech Wingman Formula Force GT, which hasn\'t got the greatest reviews. Maybe Logitech is redoing it for PS2, but I doubt it. I think I\'m going to get the ACT Labs Force RS/RS Shifter package. It can be used with the PC, DC, PS, and N64. Hopefully a PS2 engine will come out for it soon, otherwise I probably won\'t get it. It has gotten the best reviews of all the PC FF steering wheels.
btw-I\'ve heard that people get worse times with the FF steering wheels than with the non FF wheels on PC games like NFS:PU and NASCAR Racing.

I\'d really like to try out a wheel before giving up the DS, and surely don\'t want to shell out for one if it doesn\'t improve control in some way.
I guess my answer would be I don\'t know, unless GT3 comes packaged with the wheel for maybe $20 more than it would normally cost. Then it might be worth the investment to try.
