I don\'t like this newer forum search we have
I always search for threads usually based on words in the subject ot title .
You can\'t do this anymore, and whenever I search for anything I get 5 pages of threads that have nothing to do with what I\' searching for
its has become useless
-
I have \'tried\' to use the search-engine few times, but I can\'t find the thread I\'m looking for. I didn\'t know it really WAS useful before the new forums :)
But actually I don\'t mind so much, as I don\'t use the feature so much.

in almost 6 years, of doing the forums, i HAVE NEVER used the search. i dont understand what the importance of them is
-
Someone will come in and post a thread or ask a question that was done a week or a couple days ago and someone else will b!tch and say "use the search, moron". That\'s why there\'s a search.
I don\'t use it either.

Well I use it alot
I\'d rather pull up an old thread with lots of cool info to add a tidbit then try and start a brand new thread on things
Plus I like to search past topics occasionally to see what a certain person might of said before
and people who just want to find some info on a topic but not post on the site
its a useful tool. for some of us and the new search sucks royal ass

the version of this vb is in beta stage. Hopefully it will get better when new versions are released....

:shy: same here !! i can`t find the topic or person i want to search :o

Didnt even know it existed until now. Could come in handy.

As it is, If you don\'t remember the title of the thread you are looking for, it doesn\'t work. It pretty much seems to find every single thread with any combination of the letters you put in (ie all). I stopped using it the third time I tried...
If you can\'t do anything about that, it\'s too bad, but if it can be fixed, that would be great. There\'s nothing more annoying than trying to find an old, old thread you know exists, by someone (and you even remember their name)....
