Swweeeeeet.
*note to self "travel abroad and rob Kirath, than return home and be happy.
BTW How\'s the image in the TV,I\'ve always found that the picture looks to dimm on rear projection TV\'s,I\'ve always preferred CRT\'s.
-
OMG; that is what I call a television :)
You have a really nice setup - making my setup look quite pitiful, if compared to that ;)
My television is at least twice smaller, and I bet my computer is worse than yours Kirath.
Note to myself: remember to be jealous at Kirath every now and then ( j/k of course :) )
But, playing games with that television, is just a dream to me. And, heck, watching DVD-movies, is like going to theater when watching trough your television... well, it had to cost some money! If I had money... You know... :D

Well thats the thing... I always hated rear projection TV\'s and I actually went to buy a Sony Wega. But then I saw this little dream. And I got cut a Phat, phat deal on it. The image is so crisp and so clean its almost bad, because I see more Jaggies then you normaly would.
Also I am taking full advantage of the component input, so my picture is damn near perfect. I love it. Work hard and you too can have some cool stuff. Everything you see is I paid for myself. Worked hard for it...

Hey kirath,
Do you DJ? If so where at? and whats your stage name? I used to mess with the "wheels of steel" when I was young but I stopped because it was costing too much and I couldn\'t work and train at the same time. unfortunately...
BTW, What kinds of music do you spin.
-
My god! All you american guys have got those bedrooms? and the tv... wow! that´s a TV! and I also like that black thing on the right and the blue box. Interesting... mmm no: impressive. ;)
-
Well I to work hard. But all my money goes into my compootah (I love that word compootah).
Bought me a nice expensive monitor (Sony CPD G400).And poured money into my compootah (again that word).
Now I feel outdated and need to upgrading.I need my next dose of [H]ardware.
-
Nice setup k-man. Now where\'s your PS2 at? I didn\'t see it in those pics.
Is that your bedroom or living room?
-
Rear projection looks good, but you have to be at a deccent angle. That\'s why front projection kicks arse. The only thing bad with front projection though is that you really need a lot of control of lighting.
Is the TV HiDef, or standard 16X9? If you are going HiDef, what are you using for a receiver?
also, do you have any clothes, or do you just keep them under the bed.

I DJ yes, I do some clubs, but I mostly do parties (raves)
I spin all types of Jungle, Drum and Bass, and hip-hop. But my passion is Jungle. I love it...
My stage name varies, but right now its d\'Kar\'e so word up...

Its a HiDef TV yes, 16x9.. I don\'t have a receiver yet.. Im waiting to buy my house first to make that investment. Its cost about $1000 for the receiver and the dish.. Its made by Mitsubishi. I have not looked at any other yet...
ANd clothes, I have a little closet space left just to the left of my turntables, also I have a big bucket which I re-locate to different parts of my room when it gets in my way. A lot of my clothes are in that bucket.
I can not wait to buy my house. I have so much stuff in that little room, its crazy. I need to stop spending money...
-
Word to that. I need to buy a house myself. I just don\'t know how long I\'ll be where I\'m at. Planning for the future sucks. :(
-
I used to spin but now I just produce. I like it more. I sold one of my turntables to help pay for a sampler.

 Wow after seeing that big screen tv and ur audio set up, all i can say is ...kirath you 0wn me, you are very very 1337!!!! Hehe that is one sweet setup, compaing my pitiful little setup to yours or to even think of trying would be an insult to your awesome setup. I bow down to you. Hmmm who knows maybe in the summer I\'ll upgrade my tv...right now i have a pitiful ...pitiful...measly little 25 inch tv. :crying: . BUt hey who knows, maybe when me and Ryu becomes roomies once he gets his ass over here to san jose state, we\'ll split and pick us a nice big screen so we can do battle against each other on our ps2\'s :D Heres hoping.
-
I like it, great to see that you also have those camebridge soundwork speakers for your pc! they rock!
...but why are all those CDs hanging on the wall??

I have the RCA DTC-100 for my Hi Def receiver. They are on the shelves for about 650, but can be found on the internet for about 450. I bought mine for 450 at circuit city as an open box. What a difference. Can\'t wait to watch the NCAA tourny this weekend. And the Masters next weekend, I\'m drooling thinking about it. Should be gorgeous.
I\'m not sure if you could use the RCA with your TV. I don\'t think so.
What size is your set? Right now I have my screen at 96 inches, but when we buy our next house I am definitely going to have a designated media room so I can get a bigger screen. Plus I want to keep the little rugrats out.
A guy who use to be on my freelance crew for the show I produce had an HDTV in his bedroom. Pretty funny. Nothing like 60" widescreen porn to turn the chicks on.

Hehe nO-One, I know what you need... The 1,333 GHz Thunderbird, an Asus A7M266 mobo with 512 mb PC2100 RAM! :D
I can\'t decide whether or not to get that combo (only with 256 megs of RAM though) or the slower combo of an "ordinary" motherboard with 1 gig of PC133 SDRAM. It\'ll be slower, but I\'ll get 4x the memory for the same price (or perhaps even lower). What do you think?
Oh, nice setup btw. ;)
-
Damnit nO-One, get off your fat ass and reply! :D
-
I\'d get the 1,2Ghz or the 1,33Ghz,the Asus A7M266 or the Abit KT7A-RAID.ANd I\'d get more memory over the fast one (it\'s so darn cheap now adays).
But if I had patience I\'d wait for mobo\'s with the AMD760 chipset.Or even wait for the Palomino. But sadly I don\'t have any patience :(
-
I desperatly need a new comp, lik alot of the members here. I want the 1.2gig Thunderbird with a GeForce 2 Ultra and 512 ram.. my friends moms friend got a comp at best buy like that for only 1300 w/o monitor.

Cool Lucas, Me & my bro saved up and picked up an Akai S2800. Lovely piece of hardware. what sampler do
you have Lucas? I tell you what, there is one program on the Pc that is absolutley wicked. It does a hell of a lot
more than most hardware samplers. It\'s called Unity DS1 and it\'s made by a company called Bitheads.
Have a look on their website for info. Or if you want to go BIG
i suggest you goto the Propellerheads website and have a look at a program they call \'reason\' Amazing!
